You may not have been born on the continent but you are still African. We are all stolen Africans. Just because we live somewhere else, it doesn't change who we really are. African.
I’m just a white girl but I love to worship our God to this amazing music. I love and embrace you all my brothers and sisters in Christ ❤️ we make up the multicultural, multiethnic body united in Christ! ✝️ His creation is so diverse and full of beauty and wonder! 🙌🙏
🇨🇩🇨🇩 heard my mother tongue in there 🙌🏾🙏🏾 When we all come together to worship and praise the most high, the enemy has no choice to bow down in defeat. We need to come together and recognise that only God can deliver us especially in the trial and tribulations we are facing with the coronvirus. I pray that we will all see it to the end with the Almighty by our side. Stay blessed. Stay safe. God bless x
I listen to this song and dance while cooking, driving, working out, taking a shower and cleaning!! I absolutely love this medley. Thanks for the Colab guys! 🇯🇲 Representing
I’m from South Korea but It’s be almost a decade attending African Church since I moved here in California. I love all these songs we sing it together ❤Love this medley 🧡🧡
I am from Zimbabwe and we sing all these songs. That’s the beauty of the continent of Africa when it comes to gospel songs like these. They become our songs and calling the medley “African” is very appropriate. The songs ring across sub-Saharan Africa. Thank you Tye and Uche for an American interpretation to our beautiful songs. We love singing as Africans and music unites us as we translate songs into our native languages. The English translations on some songs I know in their native languages has amazed me. Well done!!!

This is my favorite on the album thus far! Since the day it was posted I've listened to it everyday. My aunt passed away a week ago at 47 and i know she would have loved this, i wish she had a chance to hear it. But every time I hear 6:26...it makes me wanna cry because I could just see my aunt dancing to this. She loves songs like this. God bless you Tye! This song really helps me to keep praising and thanking God for her life, especially knowing that she in in his arms. This song will always be my song of celebration for her life.
Shout out to all the African Pastors, Bishops, Ministers and Evangelists holding it down in the UK with the gazillions of lil pop up churches. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
People are so lost, seeking credit for who first sang the song where it comes from. It doesn't matter! All that matters is that the different parts of the body of Christ make one whole, so that it pleases the lord. And these songs are universal and are being sung so that God's name will be glorified, simple. Celebrate the oneness of sound, the kingdom sound!!
I’m not direct descent African but I can say that this song makes me connect back to my Guinea-Bissau roots. 🇬🇼 It’s amazing I danced freely to this song!!!
