Where we can find the limits of axial float in the shaft and backlash? Is it recommended by OEM or any thumb rule?

Dear sir shaft axial float depand on type /size of Bearings and shaft speed. And backlash depand on gear profile. so all parameters/ technical specification will be as per manufacturer's recommendation.
