【Synopsis】

I really love the character of Yan Xun. It was the most difficult and painful role played. His role played in the protection of Achu and how he always puts her first is so admirable. He's always willing to take the risk even if it means he will be harmed. To me that's heroic.

The title of the series should have been Prince Yan Xun instead Princess Agents lmao 40 episodes in and Chu Qiao's past was only mentioned twice, and not even discussed deeply. Still love the story though, I just really thought the story would focus more on Chu's (re)growth.

you're right, but the original story actually focus on Yan Xun more than Chu Qiao. On movie, Chu Qiao and Yuwen Yue part increased much.
I hope they have season 2 that will tell the rest of her story and will remember everything.

Remember the emperor was okay with him leaving with his mother before the duke left yanbei so definitely but I feel as though yue also contributed due to the fact that he only dropped hints. So did xinger. He could've left way earlier if he wasn't waiting for her that day. But at the end of the day it takes two to tango. Yan xun chose to stay the same way that the emperor has his family killed. She can't be solely blamed :/

This revenge scheme of Yan Xun's only put several other civilians through the injustice he himself suffered from. What happened to his family was tragic, but this was the wrong way of doing things. What his family deserves is justice not revenge. The king loves his status and reputation more than anything living, so if the truth comes out that he sentenced innocent people to death then his entire reputation would be gone, and THAT would be the actual way to take revenge for the Yan family's death. No matter how bad your situation is, you should never wish the same kind of misfortune you suffered from, on innocent people.
The drama will not be good to watch if theres no revenge ...its more interesting if he is more fiercer now than being weak

Yanxun had the best contour of all time 🙌🏼 Anyway, when he thought back to his family’s death it was so sad and painful. He didn’t get to mourn them, and lived in constant danger for years. He is now so full of hate. PA is forever one of my favorite dramas.

even though I love the female lead actress (Zhao Li Ying), and I watch this drama numerous times mainly bc of her, but I hate her character some moments in this period of the drama plot, regarding how she treats Yu Wen Yue. Yu Wen Yue obviously is trying to protect her, help her, for her own good, but she is sooo arrogant and stubborn in how she always rejects his help and goes with Yan Xun, just because she pity him and bc they are the same type of ppl (both helpless and lost before). Hope there's a season 2 so Yu Wen Yue and Chu Qiao can happily be together, and must have the same actress/actor for Yu Wen Yue and Chu Qiao! (called Lin Geng Xin and Zanilia)

同感。拿着男二的剧本，干着男一的活。虽然编剧给宇文玥加了不少戏，但存在感薄弱。基本主线剧情都是靠燕洵这条线推进的。
别这么说好吗！宇文玥和星儿才是一直以来的好人，真爱，默默为彼此守护，付出，颜值也最高，演技最好，所以他们当然是男女主角！❤️❤️

I love Yuwen Yue handsomeness than Yan Xun's.. Yuwen Yue is calm, respectable, very smart and calculating. He oozes elegance and is a better fighter than Yan Xun. The directors got it right by making him the main lead.

Episode 24 is a turning point for Yan Xun as a character. The whole episode was about him suffering and being betrayed by his brothers. He fought alone against hundreds men while everyone did nothing and laughed instead. Episode 24 is important and explains why he turns evil. I don't blame him. It puts a lot of weight into the whole plot. He is getting revenge. Even if I won't like him in the future I won't blame him becasue he isn't doing it for power or out of fun. He's doing it because he's hurt and has lost everything. And wants to get it back.
You are very correct. Although I later hate him but anybody in his position will do the same. That's why they have been trying to kill him by all means. Yan xun was seriously wounded both emotionally and physically, he should not be blamed for his revenge. What they did to him and his family was too much to endure

I like Yan Xum’s character development actually (not that I agree with his revenge plan). I lean more toward the cold personalities (in guys) and since I know what he went through, I don’t blame him. He went through a lot to let it it be and move on with his life. Not only do the emperor want to kill him, he also put use his daughter as a barrier to stop Yan Xun from going on a war against him and stop him from taking his country as the only prince left.
