crazy how Jessica so intimidating but he was comfortable and courageous enough to joke like that with her at dinner it impressed her so much she let him off despite knowing
He didn’t get fired because Daniel retuned and firing the boy wonder would have raised red flags. Besides Mike’s the one that ultimately takes Daniel down by finding out it was Forstman who was funding his attempted overthrow of the firm.
@@hannaj4032The Forstman thing was much later; Mike convinced the board that Coastal Motors CEO confessed that Hardman knew about the defects and planted the memo.
@@lankancheetah - There were multiple incidents with Hardman. The one you’re referring to was early on when Donna got fired for destroying the memo he’d planted. I was referring to when Forstman funded Daniel’s attempt at a hostile takeover but I guess it was really Harvey who saved the day on that one. I thought Mike helped but that’s when he was awaiting trial. Anyways, Mike proved his value over and over again especially when you consider he went toe to toe with other attorneys who actually attended law school and had 20+ yrs experience as well as institutional knowledge of firm/clients.
7:08 Harvey's hand is in between his legs. 7:09 both his hands are on the laptop. That's how you know he's the real deal. Taking care of two jobs at once.
1:20 how we went from this version of Harvey who was emotionless to the one where he himself suffers from a panic attack was peak character development. Goes on to show that he is human just like the rest of us
Harvey was far from emotionless, he had an issue trusting women because of what his mom did to his dad. The only two women he trusted for the longest were Jessica and Donna and he even crossed swords with both of them during the series. He was working in the mailroom when Jessica realized his potential and paid for him to go to Harvard then hooked him up with the DA to get experience before bringing him on board. Jessica mentored him to stay focused on the outcome because the moment you let your guard down you get burned which is what her father taught her. The reason Donna’s leaving him for Louis caused a panic attack was because it triggered the memory of his mom abandoning his dad. Harvey did experience significant character development but IMO it was mostly due to Mike’s impact and in later seasons that of Louis. Over time we saw how Mike brought out the soft side in him. The final season we saw Harvey finally treating Louis like his friend and recognizing that so many people had sacrificed for him it was time for him to pay it forward to Louis, Sam and Alex and give back by going to work with Mike. It’s too bad the sequel can’t be about that. They could have easily found another actress to play Rachel or just have her running their overseas office.
She would have made him fire Mike. Don’t forget the reoccurring theme that originated with Jessica and is repeated over and over in the series …”it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission”.
Well, if they did that, all of the associates that Mike worked with and formed connections with would know something is up, and Mike definitely would've been outed as a fraud.

Cut off the best part Mike didn’t get fired Harvey just said he was proud of him 😂

@@hannaj4032 yeah this was a post specifically about season 2 so that’s why Coastal mothers more relevant.
@@lankancheetah - get over yourself goober! I was responding to a specific comment. It’s
actually Coastal Motors, not mothers!
You can tell Jessica was truly touched by mikes story. She genuinely liked him.
But she had to put the firm first.
Love how Mike never actually answered Jessica's question, "And Harvard?" And Jessica knew immediately.

I love these 10mins uploads
“Your compassion” 🤏
Even Harvey had to laugh at that one
Always loved them using Gotye’s music through the series. Fits so well!
I completely forgot about them! Now they're just somebody that I used to know
Jessica wardrobe is the best
Feels like they could’ve moved Mike into a research and consultant role after this
6:48 Wow i gotta rewatch s2.. at least for Donna 😮💨
why is Suits so easy to just put on at pretty much any point in the show and just lose 8 hrs?!
They basically developed a show that all laymen would find enjoyable at the expense of lawyers hating it
Crazy how Harvey spoke of loyalty but never thought he should have told Jessica about Mike

Rachel was awfully hopeful when mike seemed to be happy coming off the elevator 😅

Harvey from season 1 was beast 🔥
This is Season 2
@@GabesEdtiz- 2.1
best suits season
I never understood why they didn't just make him an advisor and all the problems would have just gone away

Whats an advisor?
@Joelpalmer123 they wanted to make a show called Suits
Yup

Harvey couldn’t fire Mike
Jessica is suppose to be the big bad boss.. just fire him yourself
my name is not jess it is annabelle
Wrong move you made harvey and partner, you all going to regret😊
1:05 what do I wear? wears just another suit, nothing special :/
Donna get on my nerves she can just do what's ask of her she nosey and is nothing but a secretary now shut up and go answer the phone
I mean...if you've watched the show, she's more than JUST a secretary.
Shut up
saying donna is just secretary is like saying Alfred is just Batmans butler.
