I love how everyone was in their own separate stories but had time to roll up to Bosston's place. I could imagine Cheum like: "Ladies, Assemble!" lol

'Only Friends' doesn't always give us what we want from these messy, lovable characters, but when it does so, it's always in the scenes where it matters more than anything. 🥺💜

My friend had a pretty good analysis of the scene in Nick's shop, it was pretty much a return to how they originally got together in the first episode. Nick left a sexy selfie in Ton's phone, basically telling Ton without words that he wanted to hook up with him. Ton having the portrait of Nick as his wallpaper and giving Nick his phone so he could see it was telling Nick something also. That he loved Nick. And it's been quite a journey for them, and I'm personally more invested in their relationship than seeing anymore of Mew's hypocritical, manipulative BS with Top.

to be fair, cheating and sexual assault are not really on the same level. She believes he coerced her little brother into sex aka literal rape so I can understand her reaction. Obviously the cheating was awful, but like you said, kicking someone out of a thesis project is a huge deal. To me it felt more like the final straw than her being a hypocrite.

At this stage they can painlessly end things up, so Nick's story with Boston can continue, but I feel like their relationship has a lot of potential.
