Air Date:01.25.1945 ( January 25, 1945) Plot:+ "Drury's Bones". Sponsored by: Roma Wines. A Scotland Yard inspector with an amnesiac past tackles his most difficult case. A man turns up who knows absolutely nothing about his past. His past is a closed book and he eventually learns to live a completely new life and forget all about the life that is now beyond his grasp. The policemen who discover him decide to call him Drury after the lane in London in which he was discovered. They give him a roll at Scotland yard to help him get back on his feet. He takes to the work and after a dozen years he has worked his way up to be a fully fledged Scotland Yard investigator. Still his past remains completely hidden to him until one day he is sent to investigate a case in Devon.
