I had no idea how loosely regulated online sports betting is. It’s scary to see people you know unconsciously fall victim to this with the promise that they can win big. Casual turns into constant. Another great episode, super informative. Thank you Ben and Emil!
i suspect that my 21-year-old brother has been a gambling addict since sports betting was legalized in our state. he doesn’t understand that betting all day on an app is equivalent to sitting at a casino.

What a perfect guest david was, dude knows his shit. I have these same concerns, and I always think of the way things used to be. You could always tell if you were in a casino town, the prevalence of pawn shops, increased homeless populations, etc. Do we want to turn the entire country into a casino town all to create a new source of revenue? This industry doesnt seem to benefit anyone except for a select few. Hmmm..just like crypto. And as for kids they already are gambling with counterstrike skins and other game items. Barron's had a great piece about it a few weeks ago. Gambling should be hard to do like it used to be. Degenerates used to have to put the effort in to ruin their lives. We're just making a world with more degenerates, there's no barrier to ruining your life any more.
In all seriousness, it astounds me that gambling has become so prevalent. I believe there is a lot of parallels between those that get into gambling and those that have been getting into day trading stocks and cryptos. A vast number of people probably see these avenues as an easy way to make it out of their unstable economic situations by winning big.
Great guest! Please do more of these. He was extremely knowledgeable and chill. Like you guys ❤
Thankfully my bone-deep indifference to sports has held back my inner gambling goblin.
Literally got a gambling ad before the video played
yep

Good episode for people searching for new year's resolutions
Maybe I took too much black market captagon but is the audio only coming from one channel?
Someone drove a van into a transformer and killed the power to the stadium with 7 minutes left when Wisconsin was beating UNLV back in 2002
Another VERITABLE banger.
All I got is a crippling gambling addiction for Christmas :’(

What did he say????? Did he mean to say that
@@VegeTax122 I think he just slurred (pun intended?) "and I go" or something along those lines.
Y'all gotta fix the mic levels on the podcast.
the usa 🇺🇸 stock 📈 market is a beautiful orchestra of chaos and works as perfectly as any other machine or thing there will ever be. not sorry.
