SAI, people who are associated with sports, must have heard this name, but most people know very little about it, especially players. They know so much that if they get selected in SAI, they will get free food and good training, but apart from this, there are many questions in their mind which they couldn't get answers to.

The Sports Authority of India originated with the committee formed to host the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi. On 25 January 1984, "Sports Authority of India" was established as a registered society by the "Department of Sports"" of the Government of India's Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. On 1 May 1987.
If I say in one line, SAI works on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, SAI's main job is to find, select and train good players all over the country. The Government of India gives money for this work, there is a budget of about 200 crores.
Now, to know the correct and complete answers to the remaining questions, we have to pay attention to a few words, because most people have only heard the name of SAI but there is a lot that comes under SAI.
