@@ZeroSir - right, but when talking about the game, where attributes and batting stance and swing matters more than historical significance, almost no one chooses Johnny Bench
@@sunaggro definitely the easiest. Damn near every card in the game was sellable, if you grinded and got a card early enough you could sell it for a stupid amount of stubs
I’m also pretty sure that this was the first year Randy was in the game so they made him the collection reward early so people would want to go out and get him rather than releasing him later when nobody is playing.
The problem with the Show 22 was that after the second 99 Randy came out in December we got 0 content until the next game was announced in which they gave us 99 Jazz and nothing else for the rest of the year.
Video idea: wheel spin for every batter? contact swing, power swing, bunt, normal swing, sunglasses on, only swing on 2 strikes, and maybe one or two more. Just an idea, love the vids❤️
The biggest downfall of MLB The Show 22 was it was impossible to get ppl out like Strike outs were impossible to get unless you were on legend all star felt like rookie and rookie felt like Minecraft it was so easy
Best cards for me in DD history 1) deestrange gordon max speed and bunting at parallel 4 2) Kevin kiermier mlb 21 max fielding and best speed 3) Mickey mantle/Willie mays from mlb 21 or pitchers who could hit
My top 3 cards in MLB SHOW history are 3. 99 finest Juan soto from MLB 20. Would never get out, 2. 99 retro finest Chipper from MLB 23 would always go yard, 1. The most underrated card imo 96 prime Jacoby Ellsbury he would always find a way to get on base so CRACKED I want him back in the game so bad
All the years run together to me so not positive, but was 22 the year where you could throw out runners at first from right field literally every time it was a hard hit ball? Could of been a year or two earlier but it was around the time
Top 10 Cards of DD AOT ( Not in order/ my opinion ): 1. 21' All star game DeGrom 2. 21' All Star Trea Turner 3. 22' Retro robinson cano 4. 23' Bob Gibson 5. 23' John Donaldson 6. 22' Retro Vladdy Sr. 7. 21' MVP Mickey Mantle 8. 21' POTM Kyle Shwarber 9. 22' Milestone Albert Pujols 10. Any Brendon Crawford card lmao
I remember you and everyone else complaining how they dropped cards that were decent and then later on in the year they dropped worse versions of them Lmao
Better than this year. At least in 22 the cards would be better than the last. Now with sets they drop a 99 then a few weeks later drop an 89 of the same card. No progression
It was bunting and cheesy base pass running. Also the freeze offs that’s why you had so many loses. People would do freeze offs by walking batters on purpose.
Yall finna hate me on this but “best card ever” (in my opinion) Milestone Grady Sizemore, his swing was nasty, Diamond fielding but like 70 arm strength bro bro was a god I had him P5
As flawed as 22 was im glad it was my first mlb the show game and not 24, in 22 i felt like there was always something to do and often rewards (not that fucking griffey card) were worth it. 24 which feels amazing is tarnished by a greedy content structure and grind that just feels like a slog to do. I think there is a place for captain cards but this whole sets and season thing needs to end after this year.
It’s beyond sad how a game that just came out is so dead that CC’s have to go back to previous games.
Thats Cod youtubers every single year
TH-camrs go back every year to play on the old games it’s not like it is just this year.
@@falc6650yeah in February usually, not in June 😪😪
@@falc6650 this game deadass didn't make it to June... let alone New Years when you see this kinda shit... This years game is trashhhhh
Personally I like the content, my only complaint is it takes to long to get to the boss pack
The bat sounds like a cartoon character biting an apple
the best catcher in mlb the show history: 99 Kyle Schwarber from mlb 21
might’ve been 98 actually
@@cesarbenitez3693it was
I think Jimmie Foxx from MLB 19 or 21
Bro any old person would say that Johnny Bench was the greatest catcher of all time
@@ZeroSir - right, but when talking about the game, where attributes and batting stance and swing matters more than historical significance, almost no one chooses Johnny Bench
The NMS grind in 22 is severely underrated. If the gameplay was decent I think this would be remembered as the best MLB the Show
this... I ididn't spend a dime and barely played battle royale and still had all the collection rewards
@@Lifeofalexp1really? it was that easy? i remember mlb 23 being tedious but sorta easy to get the collections done
@@sunaggro definitely the easiest. Damn near every card in the game was sellable, if you grinded and got a card early enough you could sell it for a stupid amount of stubs
I ended the year with every card in the game (except mini seasons rewards lmao) and had 4million stubs left over
@@JoMo1471I remember playing events in like October and getting 3 cards from rewind event packs and them all selling for 150k
Good shit Kyle. I’m back on 22 myself. Find people fast in ranked and events. Sad how bad 24 is. Haven’t touched that game in weeks
Man looking back at 22’s content makes me sad, because it was so good! Now it’s just nothing but packs
Veteran Hanley Ramirez form MLB 17 is one of the greatest ever
24 is so dead Kyle refuses to play it ☠️
I mean… I too would not play it if it was absolutely boring and the best cards behind packs.

1) mlb 21 postseason Corey seager

3) mlb 21 finest Kyle Tucker
4) mlb 24 jimmy rollins
8:30 Kyle forgetting Judge hit 62 homers lol
I believe the tip of the cap on Pujols means 22 was the year he hit 600 HR so they gave him diamond
12:55 JD completely missed stepping on home after his dinger 😂😂😂
I’m also pretty sure that this was the first year Randy was in the game so they made him the collection reward early so people would want to go out and get him rather than releasing him later when nobody is playing.
Trevor Bauer was actually in this game as a FA lol
was he a diamond
@@BamafansinceBIRTH no he was a 83 I think, cant remember
I started playing DD in 21. My three favorite cards are all from that year. 99 Mookie, no hitter Felix and 99 Verlander
22 was the year of the super dive. I'd do anything to get ray durham back
This game didn't work most of the time. Random pop ups was way too frequent

I remember I finally pulled trout 5 minutes before 22 came out. Haven’t seen him since
The Carlos Beltran cards from MLB 17 were insane!
This was my favorite year just because of that 99 chipper I was so good with him
The biggest downfall of MLB The Show 22 was it was impossible to get ppl out like Strike outs were impossible to get unless you were on legend all star felt like rookie and rookie felt like Minecraft it was so easy
