  • In 2015 we were invited by Bell Media in Canada to be part of Discovery Channel Canada's series, Mighty Trains.
We were finally able to shoot the episode in 2018 and what a busy but fun shoot we all had!
Thank you to the whole crew at Bell Media and of course to Discovery Channel Canada for this incredible opportunity.

Perhaps one of the best narrations of the Rovos rail! Thank you. We will be on board next year with greater knowledge.

Never thought I would say this ever, but I envy Teddy Wilson. My job is broadcasting in Canada for over 30 years and doing electronics for close to forty and I absolutely love it, the electronics part. When I watch all the episodes of mighty trains I wish I could just be one part of an episode, especially the one in Switzerland. Absolutely stunning. Keep up the great work on hosting "Mighty Trains" Teddy Wilson.

"There's lots of problems, many many problems" It's not an easy task to keep trains moving. The team effort is commendable, shows you how much it takes to get the train ready for the passengers. I like how Rohan Vos is hands on and not locked away in some office. The problem with overhead wire theft was serious in Zimbabwe. It came to a point that the only section of some 300kms was eventually stolen.
Thunderstorms, failed signals, repairing signals, tamping machine, driver training I'd say the documentary managed to cover what goes on behind the scene that the passengers will be oblivious to.

Mighty trains, you keep showing the same ole trains. How about an episode on the new and mighty meglev highspeed trains. Bullet trains in general? They are fast, fascinating and it gives the United States a look at something they should have gotten years ago. Give them insight on what they don't have except for the rest of the world. What Americans are missing out on, bullet trains, and the new bullet trains, the Japanese and Chinese meglev. Those slow trains are something we been looking at for centuries...

Why make this program so dramatic!!

  • @4376ED

This program is a joke. Every episode is guaranteed to have at least five or six things that will go wrong. That are obviously made up to make the show appear to be exciting.

Agree! So dramatic that waiting for some explosions or someone hijack the train
