- In this video i am adding VW Passat B7 seats in my 2010 laura, these seats are the most advanced seats for the PQ platform cars, these are completely spec'd out with functions like, ventilation, heating and massage with 2 memory settings as well.
How to code easy entry?
in VCDS or OBDeleven, enter address 36 which is the seat memory driver
go to adaptations, address 060, turn it on!
and voila, easy entry is activated

Yes, but you’ll need a professional upholstery person who knows how to do ventilated seats, they should have perforated material of the correct type.
prerak, is it worth getting the heated, ventilated and massage functions on the Passat seats by paying the extra price and still compromising on comfort over the Superb seats?
It’s easy to get these as comfortable as the superb seats, just get a good upholstery guy to add some bolstering and foam, ventilation during summers and heating during winters is a blessing!

They won’t fit the Vento bolt on, you’ll require a custom rail adapter and that point you’re better off by getting electric seats only 😁

Suppose If I'm installing these seats in a hatchback, how mucg should I be worried about electricity consumption. it has 32din battery. I am searching ventilated seats or aftermarket ventilation kits. How do I measure if it's draining battery faster or not ?
Just don’t use them when the engine is not running, I have installed superb seats in my Polo and they have been working flawlessly no stress to the battery either, anytime you wish to operate the ventilation just use it on engine power and not battery power
Will passat jetta or superb seats fit in an alto , the size of the seats will reduce rear legroom ?

It has a totally different rail design, a custom rail would be needed for it

Yes engine mods will be coming soon, I am just adding all the parts I had lying around for this for about an year now, engine related mods will be done after some more maintenance of the engine

Hi. Can you show how you connect the wires to the can gateway? Also do you need to do something to the bcm?
I want to upgrade my hvac digital climatronic where there are ventilated seats button on it
I haven’t seen the hvac which has ventilated seat option on the ac module itself, it only has heated option on it. To connect to the can gateway I just tapped into the wires according to their slots which I’ve shown in the video

I'm planning to retrofit front sensors on my virtus. Since the center console button has ventilated seats in India in place of pdc button on international variant, I cannot have both functions.
I want to move the ventilated seats function to the hvac so I can install the center console with pdc. I'm still unsure whether it will work
Yeah I understand the MQB vehicles have hvac with ventilation options but the PQ doesn’t, I’m not 100% sure of the MQB A0 IN the newer India specific MQB platform vehicles. The best way to know is by gaining access to the company’s database on wiring diagrams, enter your vin and get all the information
@PrerakKataria Thank you I'll look into it. Do you know if its possible to add buttons to empty slots on the MQB models? I know on the PQ models you can because they use separate buttons unlike the MQB where all the buttons are connected to single circuit board
@harshasblr every vehicle is different, you’ll need to dig deeper by taking some things apart to begin the research, I am not sure if anyone has attempted this

Cost varies a lot for these seats. These can be found around 15k and some people can sell them at 40-45k as well, i got them from a scrapyard an year ago
