In India every Area has a Government depots and your Ration card is Registered in that Particular Depot .
You cant go and get ration in other depot. . You have to get your ration only where your Ration card is Registered .
On every 10th to 20th of calendar your Ration will be distributed from 10 am to 4pm in 10 days . And during festivals like Deepawali, Yugadi, ramadhan, Christmas. You will Extra Items like dal, Ghee, jaggery, cooking oil in cheaper price as a Government gift for the festival ..
