As a Tom Bombadil player this was painful to watch. The bullying while leaving the token deck alone pretty much sealed the deal.
That was a hate crime on Tom the way he couldn’t just exist while the token deck was launching off
Agreed but I he also had very poor threat assessment, he could have interacted with the food deck multiple times but instead chose to bounce creatures from the players which were behind by a lot.
@@1ntegrator I think targetting the Lord of the Nazgul was correct but some of the other things not so much. Frodo connecting on the 4th level of the ring put in work along with the mirkwood bats.
The Tom Bombadil hate was there in force. Got hit with by far the most pain while the food deck got to pop off uncontested
Really weird targets this game when it comes to whos a threat. The token deck had it whole engine going and nobody was putting up a fight with it
I was literally just coming down to say the same thing. Like when the one saga triggered and the trigger was copied but nothing went at the token deck... instead at the wraith deck thats behind or the other deck and its like....they aren't the threat.
When I saw scott cast ringsight at 9:32 I was for sure he was grabbing toxic deluge or something up that alley, he had nothing and the reset would have been very beneficial to him.
Threat assessment seemed weirdly poor in this game, I wonder if they'd played other games with the decks prior to this that influenced that? The second Mirkwood Bats hit the table, the food deck needed to be addressed. It would have been a solid value grab for Shelob's ability.
Just built a shelob deck myself and waiting for the cards to come. So happy to see her in action. My fav deck I have made is def the witch-king of angmar. Played ten games already. Love voltron
Good game. 1 little Oops but that's ok...none of us are professionals lol. Man the food deck can go off if not checked!
Thanks for the supportive comment! Yeah we screwed up on that one and none of us caught it, not even during the editing process. Oops! We'll continue to aim at improving and fingers crossed that we do.

Yeah we totally messed up and none of us caught it, not even during editing. It certainly wasn't on purpose or with the intent to cheat, just an absent minded situation. We aim to do better and to provide error free games as best we can. Thanks
It was obviously an innocent mistake. I was just joking, mostly based on my experience that casual games tend to have a lot more of these types of uncaught mistakes than competitive games, probably because casual players just don't care as much about getting every single rule right, the focus is on fun and relaxation.

Man, the precons came with me deceptively OP cards. The Lord of the Nazgul is low key busted. A free 3/3 for every instant or sorcery is extremely powerful.
And then they blow up to 9/9s once there are 9 of them, it can absolutely go nuts. I built a version that has the available wraith cards and then cantrips/removal, I'm looking forward to testing it out soon.

Gilded Goose was already on the battlefield. An ETB wouldn't trigger to make another food token.

No, there aren't from the same litter unfortunately. But they certainly act like brothers! They take care of each other but also pick on each other from time to time lol

This doesn't really matter too much, but I figured I should let yaw know that yaw missed 2 mirkwood bat triggers at the end when 2 tokens were created
Oh thanks! Good catch. I think we missed a Nadier's Nightblade trigger or two as well come to think of it. Triggers are hard amiright

Hi there! So no, it grabs anything that shares a color with a legendary creature under your control.
The food deck QUICKLY runs away with games at our table, if it isnt the focus then we'll find ourselves getting drained before we know it.
Im sure it does when the whole table just lets your token drainers just live for whatever reason like this game.

Nope, you're not crazy. We are! We totally screwed that up and none of us caught it, not even during editing obviously. Our bad for sure. We'll continue to try and improve.
Ok, the food deck plays solo all the game. It’s a shame, it could be a better enjoyable game. I’ll stick around, hope for a rematch episode!

It was a long time ago and I don't really remember. I think Inked Gaming perhaps? Probably closing in on 8-10 years ago though.

No one really interacted with the food deck and let him assemble ALL his pinging pieces….🫤. Otherwise entertaining game
You're not wrong. Some of the removal or bounce effects could have helped dismantle Kyle's board.

@@bugs5567also busterkins didn’t interact with the deck, he bounced spiders and wraiths instead of kyles creatures and the tutor from Scott should have gotten s board while in some form.
