@MrShmetel Nothing was replaced, this is from a new source. Probably the other source will be still active if not deleted by the one that shared it before. As this was originally recorded and broadcast in 1983 with was mono audio sounding in both channels. Check my blog for complete La Edad de Oro programs in DVD format.
@kigonjiro Yeah it was washed out, lower quality video of this exact same show but the audio sound mix whatever, was different and it sounded awesome. I recorded it on to a cassette tape out of my laptop and I listen to it regularly. But then it was gone and replaced with this one. Just wondering.
Appreciated Enough by Alan Palomo to have sampled it on Neon Indians- Vega Internatnioal night song on the track called SMUT. Top 5 for Best album of the decade.

All these complaints about the audience are so lame, you can enjoy music or even a live show without histrionics and exhausting yourself jnto a sweaty mess through dancing because you feel pressured to telegraph to others that you are having a good time.
what a bunch of stiffs , they're lucky enough to see one of the greats of modern music and you'd think they were listening to a string quartet,,,,perhaps. he was opening for Kid Rock,
I truly think that I’m only Alan and ZERO crowd members know the unadulterated turpitude of Vega/Suicide (the duo got the same uninspired treatment when they toured Europe) which is lame and boring.
Those ppl don’t know how to appreciate a good artist Alan Vega was a god
You're wrong. he IS A GOD.
Gods NEVER DIE.
love it when he asks the audience if they are dead (at 2:33)
whadda youse, dead?
Mmhmm
Alan Vega makes me feel proud to be American
He was ahead of the time the audience are in shock
this gig is just so sad to me. i literally cannot see anyone get excited over him. i would literally freak out if i ever had the chance to meet him
"What are you's? Dead!"
Merveilleux. Encore un parti trop tôt
best song ever by a human....
Marty Forkwater Hell yeah.The best.
This sounds very similar to the version of “dream baby dream” called “keep your dreams” on the Suicide first album reissue. Sounds awesome.
Time traveler...they couldn't understand...more like mesmerized
Rock,n Roll/Alan,Thanks.Ron./M.

worst crowd ever!!!!!
Just emerging from decades of fascism under Franco. Learning to let go takes time. The Spanish are a nicely riotous people now.
This is the worst crowd ever for any show of all time.

This is karaoke in 1983 in Madrid. Terrible. Funny clown though. The crowd is great.
What are you ? Fred?
UGHHH lf l was Alan, I would have abandoned that place and that bunch of posers asap.
I think Alan needed to share his drugs with the audience
Emma Keller Well, I'm sure he wanted to get paid, it might have void the contract if he walked?
