My mom has been in pay it forward chains in the McDonald’s drive through before. The most I’m usually able to do is letting someone in front of me in line (since I’m perpetually broke and monetary contributions are impossible).
Before paid parking was digitally linked to your license plate, we were at this parking lot and a person leaving left us the little ticket for a day's worth of parking. In smaller cities it's often only a few euros to pay so people mostly just buy one to avoid stress. When we left we gave the ticket to another person.
My favorite "Pay It Forward" story is when I was a window cashier at McDonald's on Christmas. A nice customer paid for the lady behind them. When the lady realized she'd been paid for, she asked how much the bill was for the people behind her. When I told her the next car had a total of around $50, her face flashed shock, then wish a sheepish tone she just said "Oh!... no thanks." Then took her food and left. Can't blame her. If I was rich and still working there (a paradox, I know), I'd wanna pay for random people's meals and see how far the chain goes.
Went for a work lunch. All groovy. Our large bill is paid for. Turns out it was my former friend who tried to delete me from the census. I still hate him and will gladly accept every attempt at purchasing my forgiveness. But I will never forgive him. Am I an *sshole?

Honestly, I _wish_ I had the money to constantly pay it forward, but I don't! It makes me sad. 😢.
How long has there been a toll on the Golden Gate Bridge? I don’t remember having to pay a toll back when I crossed it years ago.

The Tòrah & New Tèstament both prescribe you give 10% of your income, as charity- to whomever you see fit. Keep "Paying It Fwd," Folks!! ❤
