I was one of the protesters in this video! It was a great night in Nashville with such a talented artist! During filming I actually got to talk to Toby about my personal struggles and he stopped and listened. Toby told me he wanted to send a message and reach the lost. I'll never forget how humble he is. This experience has gotten me closer to God and continues to move me. No matter how hard life can be, give it all to God. Love will break thru! I wish I could tell you how hugely important this song has been to me. Both my parents died and my husband left me all in a time period of 6 months. I was battling crippling anxiety and fighting it and fighting God. Finally, I just told him, Lord if you want me to have anxiety, I'll have it. Just don't leave me. I felt his peace, and my life began to turn around.

I have always been Christian but I always questioned if god was real. I signed up to goon a 7th grade mystery trip thinking it was all fun and games but I was SO wrong I had no idea what God had in store for me. After dinner we would come together and worship our savior but I still did not understand. On the 3rd night, our pastor asked for us to all pray on our own I was really nervous because I didn’t know how to reach out to god and ask for forgiveness but I tried. I prayed for my sins and everyone’s sins to be washed away I asked to show those non-believers to be shown the light from god and I asked that everyone was safe. when I finished praying and I opened my eyes I could FEEL that I was CHANGED I felt as though I was clean and I knew that he Lord had washed away my sins. It was such a short moment but it changed my life.

I’ve always been a Christian. Unexplainable things have happened, even miracles, but my whole life changed for me on a random night in the middle of the school year in 6th grade after a particularly rough day when kids thought that I was a good person to practice their insults on, and when the band started playing songs, I just gave myself up and I never had felt peace like that where I didn’t care, I was just so in love. I won’t say that I don’t go through life with doubts, but I’m thoroughly changed and I can still feel that peace.
This comment gave me hope. I feel your peace because that is the joy that God instills in us.

I was a religious kid, went to church every Sunday sang songs about Noah and the plagues of Egypt, and all of that good stuff. But when I was around 13 I started questioning all of that, got into some pretty bad stuff. Then I went with my friend to her youth group Wednesday night when I had nothing better to do and I remember on that night I was changed spiritually, like a switch was flipped. Love had broken through. This song gets me every single time, I'm no where near the girl I was then. I really was a hopeless fool and now I'm hopelessly devoted. This song describes my life so perfectly it's amazing. God is good my friends.

I can't say i'm a perfect Christian, none of us can. When I first got saved, my spiritual high was like nothing I had ever felt, it last for *months* and I changed so, so much.
Before I was saved, I didn't struggle with drugs or alcohol, I didn't curse, I was pure til marriage, but the "rules" of Christianity are not what change you.
It's His love.
As Christians we can *love* rules, instead of loving Jesus, and each other. Once we stop focusing on ourselves, and focus on Him and His strength, things change.
I knew the rules, but I didn't know the *love*. That's what changed me.
Once my spiritual high left, I felt broken and empty, the world physically looked gray. It' wasn't because I had forgotten the rules, it's because I forgot His love.

It's called intercessory prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ and for this hurting world. We intercede for them. We must be saved through baptism in The Father+son+Holy-spirit and must admit we are sinners in need of Christs redemption to be saved and called righteous (see Mark 1:5 and 3:6 and 1 Kings 13:6). Then and only then those the Father hear our prayers (+ we ask for forgiveness for any known sins along the way our walk with Christ) cause the scriptures say;James 5:16 "The prayer of the righteous availeth much" and in John 9:31 says "31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will." He turns his face away from sinners cause he is pure and just God. He is loving but our free will to sin keeps him from helping at times.

Saw this in concert last night in Tampa, totally broke me down because I was a hopeless fool, doing everything I could to undo me too, but God’s love broke through and I danced through the tears and sang along and had such an incredibly uplifting experience. I've been listening to this song for years. I still can't get through the video without crying. The grandfather knows ! gets me every time as well .
Really paints the picture of two people fighting with so much hate and resentment they are blinded, but if only they had the wise perspective (Like of an old man who has seen and heard all this before) they could finally see how much destruction and self-harm they are really promoting. I'm not going to get political. I'm going to be human, and broken, and weary of what we all do to each other for what we believe are the best of reasons. Going out to shed blood never ended with total victory - not even for one side. Going out to tear down and destroy enemies of an "idea" never bought peace for anyone.
Some are too young to remember what our country was like when President Kennedy was assassinated, when his brother Bobby was also assassinated, when Martin Luther King was assassinated. The thing is, it's the powers behind the scenes that manipulate these things to happen, that pit us against each other, that force us to choose sides by planting their own people among those they consider mere "sheeple".
This video eloquently speaks for love. The only blood that truly brought victory was that of the One who loved us in all our ugliness, our brokenness, our wrongness, and our sense of self-righteousness. That's Yeshua, Jesus, the only one who never did anything wrong and who died in our place so we could be made right with the Father, Abba, in heaven.
There is plenty of what seems like absolute hell here on earth right now! And a lot of Christians are going to stop loving each other, let alone seek the lost. But you don't have a choice if you are called by His name! So here's what you need to do.
Love one another. Stop hating each other, stop hating sinners, but pray for them and lay down your life for them. Open your wallet for the beggar, make a meal for a widow, visit a prisoner who sits in despair. Lead the younger generation with patience, share your wisdom, help them to temper their passion with prayer, lead them to JESUS!
That's not all! You need to pray for our leaders, pray for our new president, pray we don't have civil war. Don't bow to anarchy even within your own heart. Don't fall to rebellion because surely it will fell you!
Then, when you've checked out your heart for all of these things, and you've made it right with Abba, ask Him that the light will remain just a little longer so we, His children, can get ourselves together and prepare ourselves to be the Bride that Jesus is returning for.
And while you're at it, bring along as many as you can, because they are all invited.

I listen to secular music but not that much at all and I don't go for any depressing ones or songs with bad meanings or that are dark, I'm quite careful when it comes to that. That goes for hip-hop and rap, I don't fill my head too much with it. However, most singing songs I listen to are Christian. I really like this song, would be perfect for stuff like Black Lives Matter. I'm Christian also.

I want to get closer to God 💓
me too but since im pretty young its kinda hard for me to understand the bible because its not at my reading level. I dont understand all the vocabulary that well either. Does anyone have a way to get closer to god that i can really understand and believe

These are things that I do and may they help you: First pray before you open the people, use a devotional book that help you to understand the passage, read together with other people and talk about it, read the passage in different bible translations or languages (Do you know the "Youversion Bible" App? It's such a great app!), write down what you understand and also what you don't understand, what the passage tells about God and maybe about you, your realationship to God and your life. Don't give up, I'm praying for you. Have a wonderful day. (Sorry I'm not an english speaker, but I tried it :D)

Being a militant atheist. You have to keep up with what others are reading. It's only common sense and respectful to place yourself in others shoes for a bit to understand them. So I started listening to this Christian Radio station in my area called "Positive Life Radio" and this song was on. A couple others as well. I really love it! And this station had very good things to say only about both sides. It was humbling and a bit eye opening that it is possible for everyone to get together to take care of each other. There are boundaries that will be hard. But it's possible. Anyways! Fantastic song :)

Err..no just stop, please. It's not that all lives don't matter it's just that some lives have been living a privileged life without realizing it. It more of Black lives matter TOO kind of thing. It can be confusing but it is really important that we pay attention to our brothers and sisters from all backgrounds and try to put ourselves in their shoes (realistically ) :-)

We've all had that period of time when love broke thru. We were all walking in the darkness, but then God came crashing through our dams of sin and letting his love overflow. I was doubtful and lost, but God broke down the walls of my heart, and now I'm hopelessly devoted.

Going to Immaculate Conception church has never been the same. It takes that one moment to say, "take all of me, Jesus!"

For those who care, it's always hard to have a Child leave home! My Son was graduating Air Force Basic Training and I had just had surgery and could not get there. This song was on the radio and I found the video shot at the Camp with the Children and really enjoyed it. I guess this one made the money because it shows such turbulent that the world is going through these days. When I finally did see my Son later, He told me a Buddy of His Father 'Tapped' Him Out and He had a really nice time with the Family. Plus, HIs fiance arrived the next day (due to flights being weather delayed and diverted) and they went off and got Married! It seems the World has gone Angry at everything here at the beginning of 2020. Yeah, we really need to PRAY for the Home Front, where ever You are, then remember to hold the World Up to GOD the Father! GOD BLESS!!!
