@@kev3374I think it’s empathy related, they can see the pain of others and, with their own knowledge of pain, often go the furthest in trying to take others pain away
@@swingmattukan extension to what you said, they see their own pain in others, taking away anothers pain or doing what they can to do so when they themselves have suffered. Its empathy but its also wishing their own pain would heal. Some pain never goes away, but we make room for it, and sometimes being able to prevent the pain of others gives us solace. Also wishing that we could mitigate it for ourself.
I think what makes Iroh wise is that he truly integrates all aspects of his personality. All his emotions he does not mind showing. This gives him wisdom. He can be aggressive and show judgment, but he can also be compassionate. He knows when it's time to work hard and when to relax, be present and enjoy. He knows when to be a guide, but he also recognizes there are things above him (like the spirits). I think this is what makes him great. Integrating all of this emotions and sensations and traits of his personality allows him to really dive deep into his self and understand himself and therefore, understand a little bit of life.
I would love to be able to have a cup of tea at the Jasmine Dragon in Ba Sing Se! Of course whilst sharing a pot with the 'Dragon of the West' too! Thanks for the video :)
It’s always the ones that are in the most pain that try to help others heal.
Why?

@@kev3374Uncle Iroh lost his son in the war which is a big reason why he quit.

Only iroh could escape an attempted mugging with therapy 😊
That scene is the perfect iroh scene and makes me smile always. What a character iroh is and had.
Iroh was everyones good uncle growing up.
Uncle iroh always reminded me of my grandfather, he always had wise words to say and always saw the good in people.
Everyone says they wish they had someone like him in their life, thing is you can be this person for someone else
When I think this channel couldn't be better.... UNCLE IROHH
Thanks!

General Iroh holds a special place in my heart for real 💯
Whenever I feel anger and or irritation I come back to this and it heals my mind
“Zuko, you have to look within yourself to save yourself from your other self. Only then will your true self reveal itself.”
We all could use our own uncle iroh in life. If not for his sage like wisdom, then his amazing tea making skills. 😊
