Kurohebi's theme has a killer light in the dark kinda feeling already Aoji's theme feels like it's moving in a circle Tsuba's theme's intro moves very quickly, and with it's duality theme alternates from sounding like a chaotic inky splatter to a techno sounding technology feeling Yabu's theme just has a dimensional vibe and has matrixy zooming sounds that are even made more obvious in BPoHC's version Hooaka's theme sounds both scorched and chill at the same time. The rat's theme sounds like it's alternating between going this way or that way just like his mouth. Clause's theme begins to sound more and more grandiose and more powerful as it goes on, by the end feeling like the whole world's being pulled into gravity of a black hole. Not to mention just sounding spacey in general.
I think Clause is playing fool and is actually wise and probably having a big plan, which may have something to do with Suzumi. I mean, listen to his theme, only those who are smart, with great ambitions and have big plans can have piano solo as an intro of their theme(jk lol), not to mention how powerful and solemn the rest of the theme sounded. And, he seem to have some relationship with Tenkai, who is one of the strongest that used to work with Tsurubami, the head of the Senri Shrine who ruled over Mugenri. Tenkai and Clause shared a simular melody in their theme. Secondly, his ability is about gravity, in other words, is about the universe.(his spell cards show relationships with the universe too) And universe is a place known with the mightiest forces, and is still mysterious until today. It could be a reference of Clause himself, who have mighty force(strong ability for battles), and is mysterious(real name unknown, maybe planning something). Also, he is immune to Suzumi's ability, just like Yabusame. For Yabusame, Tsubakura once said that Yabusame "is the only existence". And consider that Yabusame's ability is "Crossing dimensions", it can mean that in all dimensons, there is one and only one Yabusame. That could be the reason why Yabusame is immune to Suzumi's ability. Then, why is Clause immune to Suzumi's ability too? Not like Yabusame, his ability has nothing to do with dimensions. In my thoughts, it could be a sign showing that his plan about or maybe against Suzumi is working. In conclusion, I think Clause is actually smart, and may have plans about Suzumi, who is the real and biggest villain by now in the series. As a fan of his, I'm looking forward for him to shine like a "big star" in future games.

But do you really think that I know nothing about "you guys"?) 『今』、『この僕』を殺すことはできないのだろう？ なかなかどうして、『不便』な『能力』なことだね(Killing "me" "right now" isn't possible is it? What an "inconvenient" "ability".) This all shows that clause knows about suzumi's ability in obvious. But knowing it doesn't mean immune to it, right? Anyway I have my own thoughts about Clause, they will have some major siderole in my further plans. I also have an own explanation for his mind being immune to such abilties, since Clause is able to locate gravity waves and in my headcanon even memories emit some kind of gravity waves.
I think Clause, even if they are a "joke" character, have a big importance in the Len'en series They have a lot of secret, like their background or their real name
