brother Waterpark, both your editing and examples in videos have improved massively, as has my elo by watching you. Thank you and keep up the good work!
the way you teach the game and its concepts is exactly how i needed it explained to me. and now you're going crazy with the editing and the references? wow. amazing video, had to leave a comment
Great video - really informative. I have a quick question: In a high-elo environment where players are consistently adapting their strategies in real-time, how do you balance the need to optimize your comp around specific synergies versus making flexible decisions based on the current state of the board, the evolving meta, and the unpredictability of itemization and RNG? Could you walk us through a scenario where you had to pivot away from your intended comp and how you managed that adaptation process
Talking about academy i like to insta lock it every time i high rolled a Jayce before the anomaly so i do the stat boost you mentioned in the "Hidden win condition" combining anomaly and 4 form swapper damage amp.
0:25 How does that augment lock you into heimer sentinel? As far as I know it doesn't even interact with the academy trait. Might even be better not to play academy unless you want specific duplicate items.
Bc that augment doesnt allow u to build the items u want instead it gives you 4 options of items that most of the time will not work for u, so u just use the one guaranteed academy item it gives you for trait dmg amp
For me every time i get hardstuck i have to start flexing it has been like that since set 11. What i learned in set 12 is there are 2 types of comps. Burst and stale Heimer flex is an stale comp and family is a burst one. In a practical scenario it works like this: Burst: I got scraper as opener with Ziggs carry because Ziggs has a great back lane access i prioritize Ziggs items first because he more often will end my oponents back lane. Stale: As Mortdog said "Scar low key was Kow´s carry, thats why we are going to nerf Scar." Now in early to mid game i prioritize the front lane items. Im a piss low. I can be wrong.
Your videos are the main reason why i started playing in october and am currently on high emerald. That being said, there is something i still don't understand. How do you know when it is better to field 2 of the same units instead of any other unit? seen this a lot on pro's early game *like fielding 2 vexes on level 4 instead of a random maddie
Because sometimes that random maddie isn’t doing enough damage compared to the vex. When you’re playing strongest board, you’re looking at what your unit can do and the abilities. Also, if you’re already playing 3 rebel, playing an extra vex can be better than the maddie because the vex already has rebel equipped. It is really small stuff, but matters a lot in high elo. If you do it in your games, you’re sure to win more and generate better win streaks because nobody down there is playing strongest board.
Also, playing strongest board and making sure you can win by slamming components is really how you do play early game. Because everything else funnels into that early game, it’s like you’re planting the seeds. The slightest things can make the difference and you don’t want to randomly lose because you didnt play your strongest board. With everything being one costs, making sure you’re team building correctly and even scamming some 2 cost units will help you win.
Also because you'll usually hold the vex in that rebel board, but maddie (or any other unrelated champ) you won't and you might miss a chance to make 10-20 etc because you decided to play a random unit instead
if it doesnt break econ intervals (ex. 10,20,30g) hold units like zeri when you have those items so you can leave your self open to highroll a 2* zeri a lot easier which is much stronger than a draven 1. If not you're basically not going to get stronger until 4-cost. In higher ranks you're going to get punished and start stage 4 with very low hp unless you highrolled (which wont happen most games).
4:54 is the worst example of optimal item, i just want to ask how many champs can use hurricane in this meta later, or are we just throw away 2 item late game?
I have a question do I still play and hold the units for flex that may be contested by other players in the lobby? For example I am rolling down on 4-2 for zoe 2 and 7 rebel but I hit leblanc and elise randomly so I put my zoe items onto her but there are 2 black rose dominator players in the lobby. How long do I play around what I have hit and do I slowly upgrade my board to focus around that carry even if it may be contested?
In that case, if you have a rebel base (sett, irelia 2 etc.) and theres 2 dominators you should still go for zoe because 1. Its closer to ur buildup and 2. Its easier to hit. You can still use either elise 2 or leblanc on the 7 rebel board bc of their synergies If you mean you hit leblanc 2 then its different, you can try and go black rose 4 sorcs, give anomoly to leblanc and use it to top 4.
what is the difference between playing flex and playing tempo? because what you explain to be flex is what i always believed to be tempo. honest question, i am pretty bad at tft :s
How do you decide when it's better to force a specific comp (even if you're not getting ideal items or champions) versus pivoting into something more flexible, especially when you're in the mid-game and the options available are very RNG-dependent?
Quick Correction:
00:09:02 - Silco is a good option, Item stats looked terrible before; probably wasn't filtering right for something in the explorer
Fyuhh my answer were correct then

once again, loving the exercises! would love to see more of that at the end to apply what you just taught
this set is my first set that i play the game for real, and i hit master with your tips. Tks man keep the good work
I remember I was conflicted...
misusin your influences
These videos are super high quality man I commend you

Keep it up, love your content :)
I play rebels every game. But each game my comp and build looks so different. I truly understand this.
I’m ready for flex now
this was helpful thanks bapi

@@dankdude446it always gives you the item you build in the anvil, right?
Yeah but the choices are locked to only academy items
@@Randomzebra01 no they are locked to the item you build + academy item + 2 random items right? So you can always build your own items?
@@sagittariusa2145 oh wow ur right, i just looked at it. Mb
came from reddit, nice post!
Not only does my goat teach Tft, but he also slips in the based Kendrick references.
i have a question, what is the name of the app that tells you how strong are the augments on 1:23 and tells you the % to win a fight?
Metatft
metatft app on overwolf
MetaTFT :)
