Is there any chance that you could do a video on tension setting trillium stones I have some beautiful Alexandria and I would like to make a pendant earrings and ring for my mother I can't seem to find a tutorial at all anywhere for trillium cut
Setting can be made thicker. Whatever the measurement from the Crown (Top) to the Culet (Bottom point) plus a little more. Then the culet will not hit your skin. more

could even add some matching earrings in the same (just smaller) design,

Do you mean trilliant cut? I've done some lessons with that cut but not tension set

What can you do so the pointed back does not scratch the skin?
You can sand the sharp parts or, just solder it closed
