      And that's the one fundamental problem with Finlay's character. He's trying to be the "better version" of a guy who is in another company, who is STILL AND ALSO A HEEL. There's no payoff to him trying to "out-Switchblade" Jay White. He should be leaning entirely on the "man without a center" and "nepo baby savage" aspects of who he is *without* trying to prove a point about killing the past. Because if you listen to the crowds, every time he keeps claiming he's better than a guy from his same draft class who was making history in many ways while he was still trying to find himself, he draws crickets. But when he smashed up those titles, he finally got somewhere. Cause that didn't come from trying to out-do Jay White, that came from David Finlay. And that's the first time I've been able to say that.

      I don't care which one he beats. Mox has a decorated history of holding NJPW titles hostage for AEW since the very beginning of the company. Ospreay allowed his AEW signing to be preannounced and already he's spreading the false idea of The Elite being the definition of Bullet Club. If either one of these cats is the first IWGP Global Champion, NJPW has no balls. Combine that with Finlay now starting to find himself with these promos, I never thought I'd say this, I actually want David Finlay to beat both their asses. Point blank.

    Osprey is leaving NJPW so I don't think he is winning and Mox doesn't need a win, as he has nothing to prove (also I think Mox will finally take some time off after losing to Eddie for the triple crown championship at World's End). I also think that if NJPW wants Finlay to be taken more seriously then they need to give him some big wins. At this point what is bigger for Finlay than winning a brand new title while also beating two of the absolute best in the sport at the biggest annual event of NJPW.

      It is true. It feels like Tama Tonga and The G.O.D should be the leaders of BC.
      Gedo made a mistake trying to make Dave Finlay the leader of the group. It should have been Tama to be the new leader of the group and continue his slow build to the top with Finlay as his protege, then once he reached the pinnacle and won the world title, Finlay would then betray him and then he would be allowed to have Tama vs Finlay program.
      Tama has far too much charisma and badassery not to be in BC. It's a mistake for G.O.D, Hikuleo and Jado to not still be in BC. If Jay was to leave, they were the natural successors to his throne.

    • @g-coalitionbrother1729
      @g-coalitionbrother1729 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@2Good2BeTrue45 Best story would've been if Jay White kicking Tama Tonga out of Bullet Club was done on purpose so Tama could test himself and prove he's capable of taking the lead, Jay's constant "loser leaves" challenges was his way of sacrificing himself to clear the path after losing the world title so he could build BC Gold in AEW, Finlay dealing the final blow was him acting as Tama's assassin to complete the transfer of power, and all of it was revealed at this year's Dontaku.
      Tama would've given it more instant credibility both from his climbing up the card in NJPW and his history within The Club, and he seems like the type of guy that company loyalty wouldn't be a question with so he'd be content to run BC for the rest of his career.
      Also, Tony Khan, Gedo, and Ohbari would've been able to have Bullet Club at Forbidden Door because Tama wouldn't feel the need to keep throwing shots at Jay so BC could have a united front in multiple companies.
      All that said, I'm glad David Finlay has finally started picking up an actual distinct Bullet Club character. Would've rather he not be the leader if it was gonna take this long, hence another reason Tama would've been better, but he's at least getting somewhere, so I'll see where it goes.
