What is eVISA?
eVISA is an online application platform that enable foreign nationals to apply for an electronic visa to enter Hong Kong at the comfort of their convenience.

Do I Need a Local Sponsor for this application?
The nomination of a local sponsor will assist the Immigration Department in processing the application. The local sponsor can either be an individual or a company. If the local sponsor is an individual, he/she should be; (a) of the age of 18 or above; (b) a bona fide Hong Kong resident; and (c) acquainted with the applicant.
Visa Validity.
Nationals of about 170 countries and territories may visit Hong Kong visa for a period ranging from 7 days to 180 days. .
Visa Fee Payment Method:
After Online visa Application Via Online portal may choose to pay at the Visa Application Centre using Credit/Debit Card however cash and Draft is not Accepted. Original proof of payment must be received with the visa application. The passport number of the applicant must be clearly stated as reference on the proof of payment.
Processing Time
It normally takes four weeks to process applications for visit/transit visa/entry permit upon receipt of all the required documents. The Immigration Department will not be able to finalised the processing of the application unless all the required supporting documents and information have been received.
Documents Required
1) Valid Passport:
(Passport should contain at least one blank page and should be valid for 6 months. Please provide the copies of visa in the old passports)

As mentioned, the Canada Visa photo size should be 40mm by 50mm or at least 500 pixels by 705 pixels (width by height). It must be of high quality

Proof of family relations e.g. Birth certificate, Marriage certificate or Local Certificate of Relationship - Copy of Nepalese citizenship certificate (ID card/Rastriya Parichaya Patra)

7) Reservation of return flight tickets/Internal Bus/Train Ticket:
Airline reservation and proof of other means of travel within Hong Kong in case of onward travel
8) Reservation of accommodation:
Hotel reservation / letter of tour organizer and / or other appropriate documentation indicating the envisaged travel plans within Hong Kong
9) Personal Bank Statement :
PDF bank statements of the last Six (6) months with minimum Ending balance of above 500,000.
10) Travel medical insurance:
No need Travel Insurance
Do I need property valuation for a Tourist visa?
No, you don’t. But attaching a copy of the documents of your property along with your financial statement and the covering letter stating the approximate value of your propert-y/ies is a good move, especially if you are applying for the first time.
