Someone should tell doug that you get the same ending regardless of whether you're hero (use more paint) or scrapper (use more thinner). All that differs is which little sprites your attract and a mild paint job, the choices are ultimately pointless which is what the original game was criticized for
Eeeeh not really, the cutscene of the ending really changes depending on your actions, including how you take out bosses AND complete sidequests (especialy assembling Goofy, Daisy and Donald). Such as showing the Clocktower either destroyed or reformed. The narration, while ambiguous for both ends, makes sure to point that out.
