Tbh creep would be literally impossible to deal with unless we somehow destroyed it in a hour cause we would just run out of energy thats infinite creep were talking about we cant get power from dirt like this ultra advanced civilization
Bam! It would be super cool if Tom beat a map in normal mode but then set up his defenses to hold off the creeper invasion and then someone took his base layout and made it into a play as the creeper queen map likes this. That way Tom could test his own defences
From what i gathered from playing the map is the beacons don't actually have a limit however the fact you cant place inside it's area acts as a limiter if you leave the beacon to reveal it I believe you could expand it to cover the whole map.
Got curious and bored enough. As long as you dont destroy the nullifier, or at least one of the two closest beacons, you can just infinitely buff the dark tower. The map IS entirely winnable with just Boosting the dark tower, and 1-3 eggs or just a lucky single rock. Its just a waiting game once you turn the lights off
The whole time I was watching this, I was shaking my head at how Tom was focusing on destroying the guns and such with the creeper bombs. My strategy would have been to attack the power lines, since rebuilding is apparently turned off, and the powerlines are instantly destroyed on contact with creeper. If you cut off the enemy supply lines, you don't need to worry about the front lines, since they will eventually starve.
petition for tom to play: - mega-artillery ONLY (and eggs/rocks) - overwhelming creep (boosting only emitters and stashes) - production isolation (focus on cutting off resources rather than taking territory) edit: turns out we got mega-artillery this episode anyway! nice!
I want to note theres a few bugs in this map that make it quite hilarious, but fun. I think the map maker already knows, but my favorite is related to eggs As long as you have 1 egg, you can setup to build a line of them exactly as you would with towers. Only it lets you go into the negatives. Any moment you have at least 1 egg you can literally throw out hundreds upon hundreds at a time. It works with the other abilities also, but those arnt as visually fun (nor as lag inducing)
Actually this bug applies to all units with a limit on how many you can build. it has been passed up to the game developer as it is part of the main game not the scripts on the map.
Someone should make a map where you play the Creep but then when you defeat the humans, you flip flop sides and you have to fight the same strategy you used against the humans

I just realized that because of how the dark tower works you could boost it enough to cover the whole map by not taking out the beacon next to it. You could then take out the beacon and soft lock the level making it unwinnable.
@@if7723 Even if the nullifiers reset the upgrades, far as I could tell he just generated them over time, inevitably, so long as you defended one emitter, it'd be able to overwhelm any threat to it.
I found a really fun exploit on this map: When you hold and drag to mass build a unit, it ignores the unit cap so you can spam like 30 eggs at once. Decieded not to use it first time I played it because it's just so broken
Think would be great as a co-op I terms you send map with auto build we're map tries rebuilding anything destroyed. And as creeper of the game you got figure ways to brute force your way through the lines bit by bit.
i just played this and well... eggs only activate when creeper is nearby... so i maybe founf a area in the dark zone and got eggs to hatch there and destroyed the entire frontline because they go no anything (also destroyed the rift thing) and i had 21 boosts... spores got to 61
So I went and tried this map out after watching Tom do it, and I found an exploit! You can click and drag eggs, like buildings, and it will spawn all of the eggs you have dragged, even if you don't have them in reserve! You can finish this map in like 4 minutes if you do this

As a map creator, that would be very hard. We would have to copy it from scratch and then code in a PAC mod. These things are hard.

What we need is a play as the creep map that eventually flips on you and then you have to fight your own creep build.
The blobs are kinda sweet with their egg tails. Like little creep-raccoons.

I think you should earn the upgrades, instead of getting them over time, and the AI should be able to rebuild.
Technically the upgrades are gained by destroying stuff
