    Guys, if you are switching tabs apart from these tutorial, then I am sorry you are not paying attention to the tutorial.
    Even others have failed to explain kubernetes in depth. They just mugged up because they have large audiences, so they get easily 3 millions view on their video. But look at his content, it is so underrated. Its time to make this channel go viral so that more students are aware of this pure content. Great video Sir.

    Kubernetes is open-source, but there are certain distribution that provide support and build for providing user experience to its customers. Such as Open shift, rancher,tanzu, eks, aks, gke ..
    They are used in production..
    So distribution provides additional wrapper, plugin and command line tools. But at the end of day solution is same.
    Most used cluster management tool is kops and then kubeadm.
    Kops stands for Kubernetes operations
    * Installation, upgradation, configuration and deleetion are part of lifecycle of Kubernetes cluster

      S3 bucket acts as storage for configuration files (etcd ) for the clusters information. etcd is seperate entitiy it does not come with kubernetes part of installation..

    • @samuelude6858
      @samuelude6858 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MohammedIsmail-ig7zr, I think there's a mixed up, S3 bucket is not a replacement for etcd, the S3 bucket created by KOPS is separate and serves as a storage location for KOPS-specific information whereas etcd remains to be a critical component of the Kubernetes control plane, responsible for storing the actual cluster state and configuration data

    note: we cannot use the free tier instance for running the k8s cluster using kops, it won't be validated. Better to use other instances with higher cpu power.
    I tried ec2 free tier😀what was the most interesting part was i deleted the instance without deleting the cluster details. and when i look back in ec2 instance node was still running. i deleted many times but didnot work. Again I follow same steps to create and delete the cluster. Finally I got peace😇

    Hi Anna, one question please.... How the communication happen from one cluster to another cluster suppose I have one application pod running that application pod should talk to database pod which is running in another cluster..??

      Why do u want to do that ? If u really want to do that, you have to establish some virtual network peering or create a ingress configuration for database and only allow certain traffic and block all others.

      Hi Priyanka. . As I told you in the video .. Installation, Managing .. Upgrades, deletion everything is done by KOPS.
      KOPS is Kubernetes operations.. as a devops engineer you can manage everything related to update, delete and create using KOPS.

    Are kops and kubectl both are same ?

    • @AbhishekVeeramalla
      @AbhishekVeeramalla  ปีที่แล้ว

      No KOPS is used to create, delete and update Kubernetes clusters .. where as kubectl is for managing resources like creating pods in the cluster.

    Abhishek bhai can you tell me how we make a connection to our Jenkins CI/CD pipeline to KOPS, in my interview I said I make Kops as jenkins server slave but he said this is not a best practice
