Two things.
One: Did you see that workup someone did with a Carrack? He showed how the Carrack's two manned turrets _could_ be swapped out for a couple of Furys.
Secondly: Imagine an Ironclad filled with them. As in just enough space for the pilots to get to them. Then the top-doors opening.
I think you're right about not needing many racers just yet. And I couldn't justify getting the Peregrine with real money. But, with that said... I have a Pulse LX, a Ranger RC, a couple Dragonflies, a Nox Kue, a Fury LX, a Cyclone RC and a Razor LX... all with the intent to jump into racing at some point. Got an Ironclad Assault to drag 'em all around in too! 😁👍 Great stuff, BN! 😉👍
I never thought of a stealth version, that would be sweet! I have a feeling this ship (regular) will be the snub in my hangar on my larger ships.
Fits perfectly in the back of the Nomad. GOAT combo.
what I think about the Mirai Fury is that it's as close as you can get to a jetpack. It provides impeccable visibility, and it's basically a chair in a glass bubble strapped to a reactor, cooler, shield generator, and four engine pylons with guns. it's delightful for sightseeing when you want to get a good look right up close! I adore it. If only it had a quantum drive and a bed ... it'd be an aurora with a nicer view XD
I use this ship as my MSR's snub for exploration XD

I'm so torn between fury ang p72, I love them both for different reasons.
I prefer the weapons on the p72, but the fury doesn't have the huge nose out front and it's shape is just awesome.
If unsure go fury! P72 is the more speed demon choice.
I have the Archimedes on my Connie variants. But im all in on the Fury. It is so fun to fly and is better in combat even in pvp then most realise. Not nearly as good once master modes came out. But still fun and effective
We need a ship that the Mirai Fury can dock to and deploy from so it can be a true snub fighter
Hopefully The Mirai Guardian. Imagine it being seated backwards as a rear stationary turret and then it can just break off and go attack

I originally got a handful of furies at release for the lti tokens, but I ended up not upgrading the lx because it was just straight up fun to fly. I took it for a flight around new babbage to see how it flew and immediately realized i was never getting rid of it. It is my one dedicated racer, even though I have to ferry it to location.
The Fury is cool BUT it's always gonna be the P52 for me, absolute long time standing SC icon imo
I am a huge fan of the p72 but the base fury flies noticeably better
Definitely the best snub ships in game, both visually and utility.
Small note: The Fury is perfect for Vanduul and Pirate Swarm
I just love this ship, one of the reason to get into the game.
Fury LX seems like the autocross class racer as opposed to the nascar or dragster class of other ships. The fury base as a snub is neat. Either way, these should be easy in game buys.
I wish the deployable cockpit armor made the visuals wireframe rather than hidef cameras
I love the fury and u can stuff it into a lot of unexpected places and can surprise any unsuspecting threat that comes along! o7!🤙🏽
The base Fury has 4 S2 missiles and they all only support S2 missiles. You can't mount S1's on them. Aside from that I love the Furies. Like you I keep one or two on all my big ships that can carry them. I'd love if CIG made a Fury Carrier variant of the StarFarer. Replace 4 of the tanks with bespoke docking points that will allow them to autodock quickly with the cockpits facing the walkways. Could use part of the cargo bay for repair and spare parts. Would make a great Merc escort carrier.
I want Mari to collaborate with MISC and make an Industrial one. It needs 4 articulating arms instead of guns. Clamping, shearing, laser torch, and tractor beam.
A collaboration between parent and subsidiary? Hmm. 🤔

I like the Fury...and want to love it but I just have little to no use for snubs without a quantum drive

I love to race with the Fury LX, but since they released the Sabre Pelegrine i'm on the fence between both ships.
I see these ships and all I can think of is the protoss carrier from starcraft 2

Not a fan of snubs but base fury is my favorite because it has most guns.
Don't thing these suit my game play right now but if they did bring a stealth one that would be good as could use it for bounty hunting aswell.
They're a cool design, but definitely a buy in game.
love the fury debating owning one as my dedicated snub but not sure that will be something I would actually use? same thing with the pulse as a dedicated solo ground transport or to get to comm arrays
I think the fury is a really cool ship, but I think it is way overpriced for real-world money
I got these as a subscriber but I can't see the point of solo play without a QT drive
It's really built for multi crew gameplay but if you pop one into the back of a larger ship its fun to hop out and fight with

My favourite snub fighter. So has those TIE Fighter vibes. Too bad it's engines don't sound like one...
Mirai fury is always gonna be my favourite pocket snub for any setup, their small footprint fits into so many ship hangars/cargo bays
Was not expecting a 9 rating on the base. How is this useful to nearly everyone?
The racer. Isn’t this the definition of a 1 rating. Maybe a bump to 2 because it has your preference in performance, but it’s still a one trick pony and snub with all of those limits. Maybe an extra point because it’s space worthy? Still a 6?

You might as well tell her this up right next to the ATLS if you are spending real $$$ to get this. Just completely stupid in my opinion 😅unless it was for an LTI token. Fun cheap little ship to fly around in 😂
the fury needs a scanner and tractor beam variant with only tractor beams, additional sensors, and expanded hydrogen tanks.

Fury was a mainstay of my fleet from the time it was released. I used it as a shuttle in my caterpillar, to be a snub fighter, I used it to Pete pirate swarm ... It was awesome. When Master moves came in, and this is the only time you'll hear me complain about that, the repeaters did no damage to any ship cuz they were too small. And now because the ship doesn't have a QT drive, it's nav and sem speeds are the same where it used to have a top speed of 1,000 plus meters per second. This iae my beloved fury is melting to be applied somewhere else.
Honestly, I would like a docking module so that snubs could have more usage. I mean imagine how funny it would be to fill a Hull E's extended struts with docked and loaded snubs and just warp in and release them all like a hornet's nest. Or to have an arm come out, grab the snub and draw it into a ship like the retaliator.
The base is the only one worth its salt imo. The LX just feels like a hoverquad that gets a little more altitude to me since it doesn't have anything offensive at all. And I'm also just... not a missile player.
The fury fits more than one in the carrack top hangar, and prob can fit one in the rover bay in the front below the cockpit 😀

When this initially came out I used them primarily for LTI tokens. Though they are fun to fly

All I imagine now are hull series ships with these bad boys on the decks. Pure chaos
I was on the fence about these ships until I took out several HRTs. The size of the ship can definitely be used as an advantage when going up against larger ships
Yea this ship series does nothing for me. Not anything I would buy with real money but might with in game if I had nothing else to spend it on.

I really like the idea of having a few of these flying out of my Caterpillar to surprise a pirate that thought they were getting an easy score.

The fury is such a cool experience to low fly on Microtech! I remember when the Fury was coming out and people were thinking that the Starfarer would have fury racks attached instead of fuel pods as they fit almost perfectly. This would be such and interesting BeeHive Assault Support Carrier.
