Electra traction elevators @ Leonardo Club Hotel in The Dead Sea

These elevators are busy, but less crowded than the deluxe wing elevators
These elevators got another mod, the buttons aren't a good choice in my opinion but the indicator and chime are a gen2 resemblance, these elevators have 2 chimes and in the floors it's not consistent
The cab looks very nice, generally this is a very good mod, the door operator looks bad though, the hallway in this wing is poor looking but the rooms got renovated and look better than the deluxe wing

Why is it that floor passing chimes are more common in Israel than most other countries (other than the US, Canada, and some countries in the Caribbean)

no idea how this works in other countries but in israel there's a major accessibility features in newer elevator models for folks with sight impairment

i wouldn't call it a "knockoff", due to the fact that electra is importing otis elevator models into israel, so they are approved to use these buttons and indicator, and their newer models pretty much resemble gen2 otis, while otis itself exists in israel through electra
