Aunque tenga pocos suscriptores, la mayoría son de México y me gustaría darles mis ánimos, por los recientes sucesos, compartiéndoles este álbum (el cual no estaba en youtube) de una gran banda de metal sinfónico que espero disfruten mucho y también espero que alguien lea esto XD. WHY isn't Nightwish using her voice at it's full potential?
Is a shame they let her in the dark like this, she has an amazing voice.
Because that's what Tuomas do. They make the singers adapt to his music, not the other way around. His ego wouldn't be able to cope with doing the other way around. But I dont think that Floor cares that much, she is in a much better place now, making way more money (and there is nothing wrong with that) so it is worth the compromise.
Exactly! The last 2 NW albums were a disappointment. Tuamas can't write for her. Cant wait for her to do her own projects again. She said in a recent live stream with Tarja that she was looking forward to doing her own things again. She is a thousand times better here. Love it! I still havent heard all of After Forever albums yet.
Because this type of music is not commercial like nightwish!

Floor's vocals are exquisite and sublime, the band itself is so underappreciated that it should be damned crime. I loathe the modern "music" industry.

My god this woman can sing! How can Tuomas possibly ignore the sheer vocal talent he has gotten with Floor?? He really needs to come up with music composition that capitalizes on her soaring vocal gymnastics and let her shine for Nightwish. She soooo deserves more respect than she's getting. Let Wembley hear this calibre of singing from Nightwish!
I had noticed that too. Not the disrespect, though I'm not saying you are wrong, it's just they all seem to get along pretty well. I agree that she could be utilized a heck of a lot more though.

Compré este CD cuando salió porque quedé especialmente impresionado con la voz de Floor. Nunca imaginé que después de varios años ella cantaría en Nightwish, ya que también compré Oceanborn en 1998. Gracias desde Brasil.
Muchas gracias por subir este disco, icónico, clásico, representante del metal sinfónico, el cual es redondo, conceptual, bien hecho en cuestión lírica, musical y vocal, del cual todas sus canciones son buenas. Un álbum inolvidable lleno de esos que son básicos para cualquiera que se diga metalero conocedor y que aprecie el buen metal sinfónico, que consolidó a grandes músicos, y una gran banda, y le dio continuidad y perfección al sonido de “Prison of Desire”. Espero que muchas personas puedan conocerlo y apreciarlo tal cual merece.
Ojalá que en algún momento Tuomas sea un poco más inteligente y le permita componer a Floor y que le haga canciones que calcen al tamaño de sus cualidades vocales y brille plenamente.
Aún guardo la esperanza de que en algún momento AF se llegue a reencontrar y sobre todo que vuelva a tener los derechos de sus creaciones, porque hace falta la fuerza de un grupo así en la escena del metal en la actualidad.

Eu acompanho a carreira da Floor desde 2002, o After Forever era minha banda favorita, sinto muita falta, eles eram incríveis e a Floor já era a melhor cantora do mundo. Quanto talento e dedicação ela tem. Ela salvou a banda nightwish e levou o toque heavy que a banda não tinha. Fico emocionado só de falar da Floor, ainda mais relembrando essas músicas. Obrigado pela postagem.
Pelo jeito vc conhecia After Forever e não conhecia Nightwish, depois q o Marko saiu que a banda deu uma caída.
Na verdade, nessa época lá pelos anos de 2002, eu era muito fã do After Forever e da Floor Jansen, já considerava a melhor cantora naquela época. Tinha um colega na Universidade, em 2004, que sempre falava no Nightwish, ele era alucinado pela Tarja. Eu não conhecia as músicas. Pra falar a verdade fui ouvir a primeira vez em 2015, aquele show de wacken 2013. Achei legal as músicas, mas ainda preferia a Floor na versão After Forever. Só recentemente que fui pesquisar todos os acontecimentos envolvendo o Nighwish. Concordo que a saída do Marko fez cair um pouco, nunca vi tanta potência numa dupla como ele e a Floor juntos. A voz dos dois juntos é surreal. Espero que volte algum dia e que a Floor permaneça no Nightwish, mesmo com sua carreira solo em alta.🙏👍

Este Album es impresionante! los arreglos es increíble y el registro vocal de Floor es impresionante, imponente, fuerza, hace con su voz lo que ella quiere! y con Nightwish ya ha inmortalizado muchos temas de la vieja escuela, una muestra palpable Ghost Love Score, el verso final con ese registro impresionante, inigualable!

Metal sinfônico é a cara dos anos 2000, eu nunca curti muito pois sempre fui mais pro lado do thrash e death metal, mas lembro que nessa época as bandas desse estilo estavam no auge
