I think it's less about knowing the reference, and more about how it's VERY clearly not real. Like just look at it, you can clearly see everything there is fake.
If you want to avoid blocking stuff with your model you could simply create a fancy themed border and have the video be smaller within that border. That way you are outside of the video at all times
