The marble statues being replaced halfway through by unsettling body paint models, the way the white room is slowly enveloped by dripping black paint until the climactic breakdown is in an all-black room. It's very simple but very effective. Props!
I've known about BTBAM for a long time, but never really listened deeply for some reason. Here I am years later appreciating all their material old to new. They are amazing musicians! Anyone else hearing Danny Elfman compositional influences on this?

Standing in one spot for a long time for me is pretty hard, I can walk all day, but standing in one spot is brutal - add a guitar I can imagine it would be awful.

Just got home from the STL show. HOLY FUCK this band just gets better and better. Thanks for signing my shirt Blakey!
Show was sick!! Love the Old Rock House
Did he gain weight or am I seeing shit?
@@hddrummer8838 I mean he IS blakeyeatssteaky on twitch lol. It may have been perspective too. My bro didnt notice he was on a riser and thought he was just that large.
I damn near cried during the second set. That was easily the shortest hour of my life.
@@namarupa3015 I did during the first set. It's ok to admit it. We're all safe here. I wish we could live there forever bro.
This music video is too good! Album is off the chain. Bravo and thanks for the sick music!!!!!
ネガティブな歌詞なんだろうけれど、陽気な曲に心踊らされる🥴
THIS IS AMAZING. I already knew Colors II was going to be a great album but HOLY SHIT, this is a masterpiece!
Yeah, this blew my already high expectations completely out of water. Some of, if not the best music I've ever heard in my life.
I’m a musician, I’m a drummer; I mean the technical proficiency of all these djent bands is astonishing; I’m at a point in my life where I just wanna enjoy this kind of music (I’m not gonna even gonna try to replicate what they do). AAS and these guys blow my mind. Awesome bands.
dan Briggs plays two pianos and a bass at the same time better than I can tie my shoes.
If this isn't a critically acclaimed record nothing should ever have that tag! Prog at its absolute best. I cant stop spinning this one!
I can't stop either. When I'm not listening to it, I'm thinking about it. And it's only been a week...
Never heard of this band before, but now I cant stop listening!
I love this band! So beautiful. The sound. The feels. Between the buried and me is an experience
4:28 Sun of Nothing?
Amazing album as always!
Good catch.
Might mean that this song is related to the Parallax story somehow. Goodbye To Everything is about the main characters drifting towards the Sun in a spaceship.
@@force8543 I didn't think the parallax was connected to colors at all particularly sun of Nothing but you might be on to something there. Sun of Nothing is about a single astronaut who builds his own spaceship and ends up being cast out of the airlock somehow and drifts towards the sun and as he does he reflects on his life and somewhat regrets going into space and leaving his loved ones behind.
One of the most catchiest songs I've ever heard out of any genre period, what a journey... I love Between The Buried and Me
Thank you for throwing in the heavy riffs this is amazing
I was 18 in Nashville at Rocketown when Colors live was recorded. And never did I expect in that moment these years later we'd have Colors 2.
been a fan for almost 18 years, this album is so good
Saw them live last year. Truly makes you appreciate their musicianship on a whole other level when you see them play right in front of you. Real monsters.
This is straight fire🔥 im from NC so ive watched these guys grow from the silent circus. These guys are just phenomenal!
One of my most favourite songs I’ve listened to all year. Such an awesome and unique sound. Chicka chickaaaaa!!
Great song. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
I've been listening to these guys and going to see them live for 22 years now. one of my all time favorite bands for sure. the progression they've made is just insane. From the self titled album with tracks like "Aspirations" which is fucking awesome, to now songs like this. its been a pleasure to grow old together..lol
It’s really weird seeing this many positive comments in one place on the internet.
Can't wait for the Colors II tour!
So many mosh-worthy riffs and singable segments!
That part at 2:14 reminds me of a similar moment in Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes. So good!
Indeed.
1st album will always be near to my heart, grade 10 when it came out. these guys have continued to crush many genres within their songs. love the sy fy feel
There is SO MUCH going on in here I can’t think right now🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥 So damn heavy!!!! It’s probably my favorite song off of the album right now. I’m not even done through the whole album yet.
Good art concept for the video. I'm going to go check out the album. These guys got me into the hard stuff. Thank you BTBAM
Bro, that last section hits. Love the build to it, and didn’t see it coming!
Just saw them last night in Chicago. They never disappoint live or with every one of their releases.
This is probably my favorite song from Colors II. I've been listening to the album nonstop for a week now. I think I have a problem, please send help...
New album is INCREDIBLE! I just saw you guys at the Sacramento show, just amazing job guys! Best live band in the world!
