Thai protests: Dozens injured in violent clashes during march to parliament

- At least 40 people were injured, some with gunshot wounds, during a pro-democracy demonstration where protesters marching toward the Thai parliament clashed with police and royalist counter-protesters, in the worst violence since a new youth-led protest movement emerged in July.
Police fired water cannon and tear gas at protesters who cut through razor-wire barricades and removed concrete barriers outside parliament. The police denied that they had opened fire with live ammunition or rubber bullets, and said they were investigating who might have used firearms.
Protesters advanced on police with makeshift shields, including inflatable pool ducks. After about six hours, police pulled back and abandoned their water trucks, which the protesters mounted and sprayed with graffiti.
The movement was ignited in July to put pressure on lawmakers to discuss changes to the constitution, to see the removal of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha, a former army ruler, and to curb the powers of King Maha Vajiralongkorn.

Its becoming the effective tool for them. Light, pretty sturdy, can bounce of rocks and water cannon well, so they used it to cover the protesters frontline before setting up heavier wall on that said line. Good stuff, at least until bullets and molotov are used.

What a year...
Can you tell me who is behind the attempt to get rid of the Thai kingdom? The Thai king has been part of this land for thousand of years, some of the countries in this world did not even exist when this kingdom appear. The Thai kingdom always had its own money and business since the royals existed. The royals always worked closely with their people from previous times, and have more then 4,000 projects accross the country. In the past the people in Thailand did not even pay any taxes, most of them owned their land since the king Rama 5 allowed the people to choose their land. I never perceived any kingdom in this world that did such a thing like this before. In my opinion Thai people are so lucky. That is why most of the people in this country still support and love the royals. These protest children are a small group if compared to those who support the kingdom itself. The kingdom of Thailand will exist in this country forever. The most of Thai population don't want a republic in their country. Please understand.

Actually since these protest children come out on the street they always insulting about the king very badly some of words I never heard before.
