    Hallo there, I have viewed both parts and it seems that you have captured the vitals of the epic train journey. KUDOS to you for this excellent video. By the way ,tell your admirers in Indian Railways , DHR ,& in Darjeeling that loco 780 is a beast and should not be scrapped.

      None of these magnificent Class B locomotives should be scrapped! Keep it in any condition so it can be revived in the future. Scrapping is very final. Many people from around the world support this railway and the locomotives they operate. UNESCO - please stop the scrapping of any of this World Heritage Site.

    I suppose, "A44488" is a synonym for Alan Plumb?
    Well, if so, I have seen your model railway video with great pleasure :-)
    And yes, I'm a great fan of railways and a gauge N modeller too.

      Not Alan Plumb, but an LNER Class A4 numbered 4488 which is still performing on the mainline but known by it's BR number 60009!
