Despite not playing for the club too long. Diego Costa needs a shout out on this one. Also Fabregas too. I also love how they not forget about Carvalho. Don't get me wrong i love too put Gary Cahill next to Terry. But Carvalho is a different beast under Mourinho pairing up with Terry. The only ones here that is untouchable for me was Cech, Terry, Ashley Cole, Lampard, Hazard and Drogba.
Add Zola to your list of untouchables
Costa def deserves a shout out and I loved his aggression. Every team needs a bad guy and he was tht. Based on the team I feel Zola is a better choice. Can interchange out wide and drop into mid to create extra numbers. Costa, essien, Luiz, robben, ballack, and fabregas are sure subs/honorable mentions….

@@jeffreyrichards5667 Frank Lampard was a box to box midfielder. He used to defend and attack, don't know why people.forget that. Having said that, Essien's energy was massive energy and if it wasn't for how good Zola was I'd say the same thing you said.
@@saadparvez165 Lampard was never a box to box. He was a central midfielder he was given the license to go forward cause he had the likes of Makelele John Obi Mikel and Essien behind him.
What a brilliant team. So glad the guys included Zola. Absolutely loving this type of content. Please keep it coming, as a Chelsea fan for 30 years I could watch things like this all day. It's like hanging out with the players and having the same sort of conversations that as fans have when we hang out with our own friends.
True. It will help players themselves know the culture of the club and the kind of class the club is. It's beautiful content. What I would like to see next would be Chelsea home boys like CONOR, MASON, RLC, and CHO all doing this. There'll be more debate on who should come in and why

I think the content has been upped since the new owners have come in, Boehly mentioned at the SALT conference recently that Chelsea was lacking and not as up to date over its social media platforms. But quality of shows has definitely been improved

Joe cole was the original hazard. Too bad PL back then was really physical for players of his kind which results in him always getting injured. That one tackle by scott Parker on him comes to mind.
Even robben were always injured when he wore the Chelsea shirt. Dumb fans even called him glass foot. He moved to Bayern and had a very successful career and doesn't get injured as much when compared to his time at Chelsea.

Conor knows his Chelsea. Loved how he brought up Ballack for mention. Ballack was in my opinion, the most complete midfielder in modern football. Essien also being named brought joy to my heart.
Ballack's prime years were at Laverkusen and Bayern.
Ballack definately deserved to be in the squad. Essien, Fabrégas and Ramires were also incredible.
My striker partner would be Anelka or Gudjohnsen tho. Gudjohnsen was MrPerfect for most of his career, he retired at late age. Now Gallagher is the next Beckham-sensation-like goldenboy, potential perfect 10.

It all depends. The mid 2000s where makelele role is pivotal, he was unplayable. But at the game evolved overtime, essien would be more suited and was more versatile as he adds attacking prowess to his game

That is why we must get Amine Gouri to play alongside or behind Aubameyang or Broja upfront, he is similar to Zola, he would create and score too. Move Havertz into midfield. A front two option of Aubameyang and Pulisic or Broja and Gouiri.

It is really underrated or the player above them are just that good. Think for a moment, you have terry, carvalho and silva over cahill then you have makelele over mikel. One can argue prime matic was even better than mikel.
Instead of saying they're underrated, we should instead say we have been blessed with way too many world class players for the same position.
