I've owned countless (literally) espresso machines...this one is the best ever....fast, super easy (guests can do it themselves), and makes a perfect cup every time.
Both are great, so to say which one is better is determined by what you prefer in an espresso machine. The Accademia has some extra features that set it apart such as: Automated Descaling and Brew Group Wash and Auto on and off features. The Syncrony Logic RS has its own defining features also, like simpler controls and a grinder that can be cleaned and calibrated, allowing for a more hands-on approach with this machine.

One of the best quality reviews that I've seen about espresso machines! Just one suggestion: you could prepare a shot (or shots, with varying configurations) and taste it and comment about characteristics of flavour, crema, texture, strength.
Then the video would be perfect!

We could taste and be using a coffee that someone hates and then we'd end up with comments saying it's a terrible coffee anyway. Some like single origins, some like Italian style blends. We try to let the visuals of extractions show the potential shot quality.
Completly agree with you. I meant just for demonstration, with a very default espresso shot, with commonly used beans. Very subjective indeed, but it would be just an opinion from someone that understands more than we do 😁. However you'd probably have to deal with the criticising comments hahaha. Great channel nonetheless!

Yes, the machine is BPA free in all food contact areas.

Hi J, The Gaggia Synchrony is a true value. It's been around for years and while not as flashy as some of the newer machines it brews using the same technology at a much lower price. A good dependable machine.
Is this different from Saeco Vienna Plus? Which is better?

The Latte Art Wand does not come with this machine. It can be purchased separately.

Not sure why you list a refurb unit on your site only for it to be out of stock. Kinda sucks finding a machine that you love and fits your budget only to have that hope crushed. Not cool.
