  • For those times when faith in your portfolio just isn’t enough of an explanation. Tom Carr, Founder & CEO of Befriend The Trend Trading, joins Investor’s Business Daily’s “Investing with IBD” podcast to explain why charts are your portfolio’s reality check, how St. Thomas Aquinas applies to trading, and reaching “truth” by comparing what’s in your head versus what’s happening outside. Take a moment to renew your faith in Arista Networks (ANET), CrowdStrike (CRWD), and remember: sleep, a bath and wine can heal both in sorrow … and in stocks.

Another awesome talk with Dr Stoxx! Always informative and each time he is on I come away with a winning trade idea or two. This time no exception. He's absolutely right about the over dependence of the marekt on the big blue chip tech stocks. With the Fed on pause and likely to start cutting in May, with retail sales falling hard, with credit card defaults hitting historic highs, we should see a major shift toward easing, liquidity, and growth/smallcaps/biotechs come back into favor. Already seeing this this week, in fact, right on cue!

How ironic. CLSK, MARA and bitcoin are running fast right today, the day that this video is released.

He had very poor generalized analytical reasoning and it shows by the markets reaction since this was posted. Atypical for IBD

This was one of the poorer podcasts in a normally very high quality IBD series. The guest speaker makes several, incorrect comments that conflicts with existing evidence. First, he says we haven't had any "pullbacks" days to date. We've had several albeit minor with quick bounce backs. He then says "things are out of balance" because money hasn't flowed out of MAG7 stocks into names trading at 52 week lows. Not going to get into details but this isn't how you define overconcentrating/broadening within a weakening market. Poor analytical advice and below the IBD high bar that's set. Please do not promote this type of analysis
