She was for sale anyway, if someone like that shows an interest and she wasn't getting on the trailer, then it's totally reasonable to sell her. It sucks that it happened like that, but it's reasonable. I'm sorry that those people didn't understand. They don't know how hard the situation probably was. You guys made an adult decision that kids and teens can't fathom quite yet (not a bad thing when I say that).

My 9 year old daughter who watches all of your videos, was a jump judge that Saturday. You guys were walking the course and she wanted to talk to you, but she got too nervous lol. She cheered for you as you cleared jump 6 though! You guys looked really good! And don't worry about Bubbles, we have ridden there for lessons... She will be loved and well taken care of.

The situation was just too weird to not be a intuition type decision for Bubbles. Selling horses is a very interesting and difficult process. It never feels like any decision is the right decision. 😊 Anyway... Off my soap box. You make me wish I lived in state with more eventing! I don't, so I'll just have to live vicariously through you! 😊

Knowing you did all you could and that you set that mare up for success and bow she's in a home with people who will love her and care for her even if it wasn't the ideal situation. I understand your loading pain. My pony used to load perfectly for all her owners until us and her previous owner where she started to play up. She would never rear or kick out or panic just plant herself and refuse to move and back up if you put any pressure in the lead rope. So we bought a dually and now she loads a lot better
We've all been there, Jill. Trust me. I've had several horses that we've had no other choice to leave at a facility over night and come back the next day. It's hard. Even professional trainers and horse people have difficult times with horses. You are a 19 year old girl. You're still learning and growing as a horse person and as a trainer. Personally, I think you are growing more and more every single day. You're an amazing person and definitely very brave to post your journeys with Zoë and your journey with Bubbles. It's amazing to hear that she's doing great and her confidence in the trailer has been restored. I could never post my own personal struggles with my training horses and this is what I do for a living. This industry is catty, two faced, and toxic. Which is sad to say. But you did what was best for you. And like you said, you didn't have any control over the ultimate decision. That was for Bubbles' owner to decide. Not you. And it happens like that sometimes. Ultimately, I think that you're an amazing person, rider, and I strongly believe you will continue to grow and learn and eventually become a highly competitive and sought out trainer if that's what you decide to do. You did all you could to educate and further along that little mare. And you did that to the best of your ability. That's all that matters. You poured 100% into that horse, the same you do for your very own. Not a lot of people can really say that they do the same. Good job, Jill! Keep up the good work! I look forward to see your progress!

Hi Jill, I encourage you to look deeper into the affects of choke chains like the one you use on Myla. If you have an issue with her pulling there is much safer ways of training the behavior out. I just noticed it seemed to always be very constricted which is not the way they should be used, they should be loose when just walking, only constricting to give corrections, then able to slip back to the loose position. The constant constricting is very very very dangerous for the dogs throat. Thanks for reading through my comment, I hope you look into the risks :)
Aw Jill, dont get frustrated or upset about Bubbles. If anyone gave you backlash they obviously weren’t real supporters. Loads of us knew you wouldnt just leave her there. Those who thought you did were probably just over reacting to the shock. But you did what was best for you. And like you said, you didn't have any control over the ultimate decision. That was for Bubbles' owner to decide. Not you. And it happens like that sometimes. Ultimately, I think that you're an amazing person, rider, and I strongly believe you will continue to grow and learn and eventually become a highly competitive and sought out trainer if that's what you decide to do. You did all you could to educate and further along that little mare. And you did that to the best of your ability. That's all that matters. You poured 100% into that horse, the same you do for your very own. Not a lot of people can really say that they do the same. Good job, Jill! Keep up the good work! I look forward to see your progress!
I spent my lunch hour watching this lol...I feel your pain with the 3 hours of sleep it doesn't get any better (6 hours is like sleeping in for me these days lol) Well done at TX rose! Working with a horse is stressful when they won’t do what your asking and it’s hard, I would’ve done the same thing you did! i honestly cannot believe people would think so low of you, especially those who have been supporting you for such a long time. Your Instagram post did not come across as negative, or rude, or anything bad. People want excuses to hate, and its so disappointing that they do that. Bubbles is in a great place, and it's obvious how much you cared about her even in this video. Sounds like Bubbles had so much fun that she didn’t want to leave lol! To me it sounds like a great home for her. Also anyone who watches you knows how much you care for your horses. I’ve only been watching since Rolex when my friend showed me the video of you running over Boyd Martin and I can see that you only want what is best for them.

TBH Jill I would have done the same thing with Bubbles! She was going to sell anyway and yes maybe not with the experience that you had hoped she would have but 5th in her second ever show let alone an event is great! This was meant to happen and I'd say the woman who has her will definitely enjoy her! She's a great pony and maybe one day you'll be competing against her in a 4* 💓💓 (I mean Camilla Spears🇮🇪 Just a jiff is 15.2hh and he did olympics😂)

I totally I agree with you!! There’s a reason for everything and I think Bubbles just wanted to be there. That is where she is meant to be. You did everything you could for her and she is now in a very good home. There isn’t much more one can ask for! Keep up the amazing work!! And stay strong through all of the harsh and unfair criticism people make of your decisions (heck in this case it wasn’t even yours to make so I don’t understand why everyone is so upset!!) Hi Jill, I encourage you to look deeper into the affects of choke chains like the one you use on Myla. If you have an issue with her pulling there is much safer ways of training the behavior out. I just noticed it seemed to always be very constricted which is not the way they should be used, they should be loose when just walking, only constricting to give corrections, then able to slip back to the loose position. The constant constricting is very very very dangerous for the dogs throat. Thanks for reading through my comment, I hope you look into the risks :)

Those who thought you did were probably just over reacting to the shock. You’re a fabulous rider, and an amazing owner and trainer to all your horses or projects so don’t get caught up or upset about the hate, as theres many of us who believe in you❣️
