In this video I will drive from Lyon to Genève and will be testing the new Mercedes Antos'12 mod with tandem trailer.
This trip was not without it's faults. I did stall the engine a couple of times because of the clutch biting point,
which is very narrow on a computer compared to real life. And also the low powered (360HP) engine wasn't helping much.
Once I upgraded the engine (after this trip) to '500 something' HP it didn't stall one single time.
So next time I will pick a bit more horsepower. The truck itself I found to be very good.
A lot of tuning options and the tandem part adds that extra bit of realism and variation compared to the basic trucks available.
Paint variations were also plenty, so no complaints there.
I need to get used to my new H-shifter, but it's a lot of fun!

I liked it for most part, but the driving felt strange. The braking was not responding like other trucks. When I changed the settings it was either too much or too little response.
Have you tested this mod and what are your thoughts about this? This & anything else, let me know!
I had a set with this tandem and I was happy with that. ;)
I'd like to bought TH8A too, could I ask you for some things about that combination GT+TH8A? ;)
You can try, I don't know everything, only what I've tested ;)

No problems here. But you need the clutch T3PA otherwise you can't h-shift. So my combination: Driving Force GT, TH8A (with an adapter to make it USB) & T3PA are working very well. You will have to use 3 USB ports. If you buy an Thrustmaster wheel you can connect the pedals en shifter to that, so you only need 1 USB port on the computer.
So I can't use pedals from my old stering whell like a clutch? Now I've got GT,Joystick and My old stering whell, which Iam using like a clutch. I'll doesn't work with TH8A?

How did you get the clutch and the H-shifter to work with the Driving force gt??
