Thanks for this podcast with Bob!! Just discovered this after searching for Bob for years and wondering what happened to him, the last thing I heard was an article I read saying he was living in a hut in Vietnam then nothing until now. I'm sure there are many others who will love this podcast who were avid listeners of Bob's phone in on Scot FM. I have never heard a show like Bob's ever since. Mondays - Fridays 10pm-1am has never quite been the same.
One of the greatest voices in radio and an inspiration to all of us. Surely a major station in Scotland would offer him a new show or a newspaper column.
Wonderful to hear Bobs voice coming out of my speakers again! Wishing Bob all the very best and a speedy recovery 🤗❤🏴 I sincerely hope Bob gets back on the airwaves once again 🤞🤞 Well done for this interview, very well done and easy to listen to 👍👍 (Once I got over the excitement of hearing Bob)
Bob was a close family friend. I was just scrolling seeing if I could find some memories and came across this. Bob passed away a couple of days ago. Just thought you should know.
Hearing Bob is the most amazing thing that has happened to me in a long time, Spanglishana had the pleasure to meet Bob in the flesh, I was a skinny waitress in a boat/restaurant at the time and he made the time to talk to me and be my friend, I looked for him over the years to thank him to no avail, I wish him a speedy recovery and hopping we can connect again, in any case this has giving me a purpose today, we all need those, they come in all shape and sizes just like him, all the best amigo Bob and thank you for the prawns in Abbeyhill and for the ear, there always be those here for you too from me. All my love to you.
Man it gave me tingles hearing that voice again! So many nights spent beside the radio listening to his talk show on ScotFM. Was going through a tough time in my teenage life and it always brought me comfort - so if you're reading this Bob, thank you - I'm very grateful. Sorry to hear you've been unwell, best wishes on a swift recovery. Hope to hear plenty more of you again!

Who remembers the police that turned up to ScotFM to arrest him as a prank whilst live on air? if only someone had that recording. RIP Bob.

Used to listen to Bob often. Wish him well. He was always a compassionate man. Stay away from Filipino and Thai woman though. They'll scam you.
