Johor Bahru is a place, that i often go exploring whether it's food, cafes, malls, hidden alley or under the radar so today we will heading over to Holiday Plaza, a old retro 90s mall, which was a famous mall back in those days. But times have change, and with the new mall popping out everywhere, how long will theses old retro mall survive? Join me.
Just to take the time, for a short intro about myself, I'm JT and welcome to my channel. This channel is about travel, culture, food & family fun.
Currently most of the travels would be in Malaysia( mainly in Johor Bahru)& sometimes in Singapore as well but I will be covering the various and different states every now and then. And as for food, I am a foodie so basically as long there is tasty food, good spots or hidden places, I will try my best to cover them for you guys.

This place holds many memories although Holiday Plaza has gone through many changes.
I am a frequent visitor to Holiday Plaza. One thing for sure..it’s thriving. Almost fully back to normalcy. 0:15

Holiday Plaza ( an extension to KSL City mall), yup still hidden gems if you know where to find them.

Wow, That was a pretty long time ago, The pirated DVD period with all the PC CD games as well , full of snacks and video arcade...LOL

Yes, long gone are the VCD / DVD but mobile accessories, nail polished studio, hair saloon and spa massage have taken over.
So much nostalgia at Holiday Plaza. 😅 I think the 1st McD in JBb was in HP

Actually, i prefer to go there where I can look , customized , mix and match the casing i like.
The dried mandarin orange peel at the medical hall is good. Had a bad 100 day cough and non of the western medicine work.
This orange peel literally stopped the cough almost immediately.
The medical hall has been there for many years.
Hi what is the name of the pastry shop?
Oh , can't really remember the exact name but it's really easy to find , it's just opposite the Chamelon Shop ( selling women hair clips and accessories ) . The pastries are pretty good actually. Located in the middle section of Holiday Plaza, ground floor.

Wah, a little harsh. I have been to places much than HP. The one at the Waterfront in JB , now that's slum mall, A real eye sore. I would consider Holiday Plaza is a shadow for KSL City mall, just to supplement or specialized for certain group of customers.
