Stamp and Chat- Whimsical Wednesday - Expanding You Stencils to Fit Slimline Cards

Tonight, I used a stencil to create the background and showed how to extend it to fit this slimline card. I used the Colossal Coneflower stamp and die set to create the flowers and I had to enlongate the stem to fit the card. I hid that raw edge under the larger flower. Tonight, we talked about Conflict vs. Bullying. There is a big difference. Tonight's quote was "Some people cut the heads off of others to make themselves appear taller." Hello Gina! I just have to say how much I enjoy your stamp and chats. I had seen many of your videos and demonstrations before, purchased from your online store, and obviously respected your craft skills (I say obviously because I wouldn't have continued watching and then buy from you otherwise), but the stamp and chats have really given us the chance to get to know you even more, which has only made me respect you more as well. I enjoy your teachings, but I also enjoy hearing from you as a person and hear/see your interactions with your family and friends. Your kindness, humor, humbleness and strength shine through. Thank you for doing this. It's hard work and you put yourself out there and I really appreciate you.

I flipped the ruler sticker like you did. I am a leftie. I like working with the stamps on the door on my left. The new Misti updated the ruler to metal. More precise but back to me reading the measurements upside down. Oh well.

I love these Stamp and Chat even though I don't watch it live. I had to buy some pencils a week ago and hope blending is as easy as you make it look. You are very talented and thank you for sharing your talents. Hopefully when we are no longer on any kind of lock down you will continue these stamping sessions.

I was very disturbed by what has being happening in the world at the moment and although praying about it seeing things more clearly is a help in dealing with things. Missed the live, like the replay though, nice project. Just a heads up on solvents. Grumbacher makes a product called Grumtine, made from oranges. Smells great. Also, baby oil is pretty oily and will sink in and stain your paper. The verithin is a harder pencil. I have been using prismacolor for over 40 years, great product, reasonably priced. Thanks!

Yeah I use my misti's like a book lol I have been decluttering and I now have 3 regular misti 1 mini and some other brands I didn't know I had??? You are so funny. Really starting to like these.

Thank you. There are many forms of bullying. The one I experience is very hurtful: 2 people ganging up to achieve the desired result for one of them with no regard for the impact on the victim. What is even more disturbing is that these are 2 family members. Very distressing.
