I feel bad for the workers who lost their jobs but can you imagine the cost it would been to bring Izod up to date even if they did that it would of been hard to compete with the likes of Barclays center and prudential center. I remember going there when it was still the continental airlines arena as a kid back in 2003 and watching the nets play
at the end of the day New Jersey people must remember that the Prudential Center is located in Newark. One of America's most crime ridden cities in the nation, and a city that isn't really looked upon fondly by the nation whether New Jersey residents like myself like it or not. Izod is easy to get to. It is located in a safe area. I would much rather attend concerts and other events at Izod than at Prudential. Even if Prudential has modern amenities.

this location was light years better than newark.
Meadowlands overall has to be the most quintessential example of the mess that is entertainment and development in New Jersey.
