Sword Fight Scene | Blood and Bone (2009) | Now Action - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
Why doesn't mainstream Hollywood doesn't use him as a box office action hero? He has the charisma. Not to mention the SKILLS.
Because Hollywood only like people they can control....only puppets. People that want it so bad they will do things morally wrong to get the top spot. Michael just isn't with it. It's the same reason why a lot of people go straight to DVD. They produce with their own money a lot of the times to avoid the middle man. Unfortunately, the gatekeepers usually win because they control the press unless something goes viral and that...they cannot stop completely
Because he's not a sell out
For real!! Politics .. 🤦🏽
He is too strong, too black, too real, and too honest for Hollywood.
Because he’s conservative and not a leftist communist .
I’m surprised they even give him any roles
I love that this film didn’t rely on quick cuts and shaky camera work. Just Long shots that allows us to see the amazing work MJW and the guy he’s fight are showcasing. We need more action movies to do this!
Another thing we needed (way too late now) was a DIRECT SEQUEL. The movie ended with what looked like him on some kind of "quest" but nope. No sequel and what is more "Pretty Boy" Price was not really a "villain". Bone had to fight him but fighting was his job. He was NOT a villain like those crime lords were. I wanted Price to have his own spinoff as a HERO similar to Uri Boyka from Undisputed 2 onwards. Maybe he did not realize the full extent of McVeigh's criminality and refuses to fight for him anymore in disgust when he finds out.
But nope. Total lost opportunity.
That’s how you shot an actual action scene. The longer the shot without cuts the more immersive you feel as a viewer.
RIP Julian Sands. You always made a good movie villian.
Very true, but in this one I don’t think he was really a villain, as he seen helping the protagonist
I love the Enter The Dragon easter egg at 5:50
I thought I was the only one that caught that...Bravo !😁
Also when he yells Ohara just like in enter the dragon
Yup
I guess his strength was in his jacket.
Definitely not his spinning kick that somehow hit from the next street over lol.
James was starting to get the realization that without his muscle putting in work for him, he was nothing.
😂
His jacket wouldn't have helped him when his head hit the concrete.
With or without Jacket he was no match for Bone
I would love to see a Blood & Bone: Part II. Bone has past, and therefore future.
I posted on another thread that something I wanted to see in the sequel is a scary as eff opponent who unlike Price absolutely rivals Bone in fighting ability and power and overall "badassness". His fight against whoever that is should push him to his absolute limits and leave him badly beaten up and exhausted with a 51,49 victory. And Price should have, like Uri Boyka from Undisputed 2, had his own spinoff as a hero.
I love how many punches/kicks people take to the face and yet dont bleed. 😂
Why it's called a "movie"...
@@HawksDiesel OH crap, I thought I was watching a martial arts documentary! Thank you for telling me!
Bob Wall being named O'Hara is classic
That actor should have gotten to be a HERO in some martial arts action movies. I have only seen him portray villains (not just "Ohara", he was a villain in a different Bruce Lee film).
Awesome scene as well as the whole movie! Spawn always wins!
It’s rumored that Denzel Washington doesn’t want to continue the Equalizer franchise. I’d like to nominate Michael Jai White.
three movies, Denzel is in them. (so i'm assuming you mean continue to make a fourth film and etc.)
@@seanwilson531: He did say CONTINUE them, considering that he has done three of them.
"James , you talk too much" it be your own friends 😂
Excellent movie! First class scene.
The mainstream cinema is more focused on speeding the fight scenes without any regards to fighting techniques and weapons they are using or how they should be used in practical terms...this movie is fine example of fighting skills ,techniques used & choice of weapons like sword fight scene. Jay is a professional when he’s fighting each move is clear crisp & not being rushed over .Blood & bone is one of his finest action films.
Rip Julian Sands
I said the same thing whilst watching this.
Ditto.@@Andys12169
Music : South Park theme 😂😂😂
Enter the Dragon, homage. O'Hara was a
name called out at the climax of the movie
Wow I forgot Robert Wall was in this movie. RIP
Michael goes through a few different swords stances
Did anyone notice the continuity mistake, the bad guys tie came by out of his jacket but then was back inside in the next scene.
Lol. 😂
4:15 Folded like a chair.
Impressive how he is so agile even in that suit
He should have got dressed lol.
My favorite part is when he doesn't even use the sword it's just hilarious to be honest
Awesome fight scene
It's Chief Boden from Chicago Fire!!
James really walked up like he was Afro Samurai
His sword fighting is so terrible it makes the sword fighting in kill bill look good 😂😂😂
As soon as the guy took the jacket off, he got too cocky & it lead to an ass whooping.
He would have made a bad ass war machine
I miss spawn
man muß immer bedenken diese Bewegungen der ganze Kampf ist ein studiert wer weis wie oft und ein echter Kampf würde so niemals ablaufen
guard in background really don't care )))
Cool clip. Cool music
Dude plays a great bad guy
He is so awesome!
When you watch this while you are a little bit drunk, you can see the choreography more clearly while sober, which is strange since you would expect to see it the other way around.
masterpiece movie
In both this and Undisputed 2 Mike Jai White was the hero and Scott Adkins and Price were the "villains" (quotes because they might not really be villains in the classic sense, kind of like some of the Rocky movie opponents) but it might have been interesting to see different movies where those same actors face each other but REVERSING who the hero and villain are, or to see Matt Mullins vs Scott Adkins.
Taste like a timberland boot!
the greatest Bullshit in 5th Minute without Weapon against Katana such an Movement
Needs a Part 2
The bro who didnt wanna change.....end up change and got his ass wup
Movie was entertaining tho
O'hara.....again? Robert Wall played O'hara in Enter the dragon.
Just recognize "lefty" went on to become Fire Chief Boden on "Chicago Fire". He's awesome in that series. Here... not as impressive. Somebody give the guy a hand...
Eamonn Walker. He was in Wire I think.
@@CraigMcfly1985 Lord of War also...he prefers it his way
Also starred in Tears of the Sun alongside Bruce Willis.
I see what you did there 🔪+🤺=🩸✋🏾. Anyone smart enough can guess the riddle
never thought a wooden bokken painted with chrome could cut a hand clean off.
slow mo
it wasnt a bokken it was the scabbard....mustve had an edge??
Bone parries the sword and forces it down onto the badguy's hand.
You guys are slow 🤦♂️
für Kampfsport is das gut gemacht good for Martial Arts but for Real it must be much faster and harder
Aí tabom
😳 bueno ese por lo menos tiene pelo
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Put the jacket back on
Okay
james paid for everything as he killed darryl and his wife and anyone else who he assasinated..
Babaquinha quase.quebrô a coluna kkkkkk
Donnie 0:14
Хоть би костюма зняло що невидно що він мішає.
အစအဆုံးတင်ပေးပါလား
Spawn wins
Dude is super corny period. The first fight was slow and the choreographing for it could be seen from a mile away. Then this weak follow up sequence with him throwing away the sword like he super skilled is wack. Quit being corny and just kick butt. I digress! Be blessed in the Lord Jesus Christ name.
I always just knew this as "Racial Stereotypes: The Movie"
This scene kind of irritated me. Not because of the action, but from when White throws the sword away to fight with the sheath. Sure, it was a movie machismo moment, but only the most stupid person in the world would actually do that. The sheath is very light (I’ve had similar swords) and is practically useless as a weapon. Maybe if you poked someone in the neck with the end… but still unlikely. Wacking someone with it would only piss them off. It vaguely reminded me of a John Wick scene where Wick put a book against someone’s face and started punching the book. Denzel Washington used a book as a fighting tool correctly in The Equalizer. But to cover someone’s face and hit the book… absolutely stupid. All that does is give your enemy padding to lessen the impact.
Poor and stupid fight choreography....
Predictable story, lousy fight choreography and MJW is as slow as a wet week.
Literally the worst fight choreography I can remember seeing in years. It looked the actors were afraid to get close to each other for fear of getting hurt. Some of the kicks looked like slo-mo. The ridiculous posturing and flouishing was evidently there for adolescents who've seen too many bad Kung-Fu movies.
it was good in my opinion!
@@yanni2112 glad you enjoyed it. I didn't :)
Jealous.
I was looking for entertainment not choreography
@@ianwright1855 I was looking for a good action movie but a little disappointment comes to us all sometimes.
O hara is a tribute to Bruce Lee enter the dragon
