Bear in mind the new testament was originally written in Greek and our sources which make up the new testament are from the "Greek manuscripts" . Now then, I can see the said claim is based on Quran 61:6 and a very convenient apologists "theory" that certain Christains substituted the Greek Koine word "periklytos" (which means "famed" , "illustrious" , or "praiseworthy", praiseworthy when translated into Arabic - "Aḥmad") for Koine word "parakletos" (Paraclete) which appears in the Gospel of John, and means "counselor", "helper", “advocate”. There are two mayor issues with this stance. Firstly, that Christians do not see the Quran as a source of authority and secondly, there is no evidence in any of the Greek manuscripts (total of 5700 manuscripts thus far) which shows the use of the Koine Greek "periklytos" anywhere. Moreover, all scripture supports of use of the Greek Koine "parakletos" as its meaning is in line with the context of the text.
