TH-cam recommended this to me so I gave it a chance. Gotta say, bold move to start off a podcast about The Strokes with a long discussion on microplastics and forever chemicals lmao! But I really liked listening to you guys, and I feel pretty similar that my absolute fav of their albums flips all the time, and like the Goose man sometimes The New Abnormal hits the number one spot too - we're so lucky to love a band that is still making some of their best stuff. Anyway, just wanted to add I think why Comedown is loved or hated is because it is such a specific vibe - and it truly lives up to it's 'comedown' name. If you are feeling that kind of way in your life while listening to it then it just hits different, and coupling that with how obviously the band themselves were on a real comedown too at that time, that feeling really comes through authentic. Listen to it next time you're coming home from a nice vacation and you'll know exactly what I mean lol.
