Hello Kate, great open video. Thank you for that. I come from many years of Zen practice. I think you are correct in what you say. There are old accounts of Zen masters giving Rice wine to students to get them through this early stage of energetic awakening. Knowing this certainly helped me out during this early explosion and all the terror, anxiety, and emotional turmoil we can face. I found a single beer, each night gave me, a welcomed relief for just a few hours. Since time has passed and this STUFF has arisen and passed away, very naturally all alcohol has disappeared from my life completely. We do the best we can in this messiness and eventually naturally find the inner calm and space to meet whatever arises with equanimity, love, trust, faith, and huge compassion. Great work you are doing here, much needed❤
I haven't watched even a full minute of this video and already I'm crying and shaking with relief and gratitude that you're addressing this subject. You wonder, "Is anyone even watching this?" There are at least 120 other people besides me who want to know what you have to share. I've been encouraged to get back on an antidepressant at a very low dose and each time, just before I go to pick up the prescription, a wave of calm sweeps over me and I know to keep on going on.
In my case, medication has been life saving at times during this journey with Kundalini. Ketamine infusions and Spravato have been especially helpful. I have also benefitted from an SNRI antidepressant medication. I wouldn’t think of not taking my insulin every day to treat type 1, why is it so different with medications to help our mental and emotional process? Thank you Kate for your wisdom and honesty.
This is very helpful and gives me compassion with myself. I had to learn over years to allow me some help, to calm the body and nervous system down so I can handle it when it is too strong. We have this body and we live in this world and the body and the mind sometimes need help. We are strong all the time to go through this, but we need to be gentle and kind to ourselves as well. Whatever gives some release and some better feeling is ok! And let no one jugde !
Great share Kate 🙂 I swaddle myself all the time it also helps me. When kundalini erupted I was put on a sedative antidepressant to take at night for the fear and terror and even though it took a slight edge off the one thing it does do is help me get some sleep. I also use food to soothe if I’m really in the thick of it. We do what we need to do to survive ❤
the kundlini energy restrited me on her own the path of eating and drinking rules. means even my love for coffee was minimized in the process. there are only a few food or drinks I was able to enjoy and them I followed without any restriction, feel only guided by 🤮
Man I struggle at work everyday. I do a lot of focused mental work on the computer to create paperwork emails and it messes me up. I suck energy up and by the end of ny shift I feel like sh..t. I know that I wouldn't have this problem if I had a different kind of job, something more grounding/physical but it is not an option for me to change jobs at the moment.

You're so welcome Daniel. Here for you.

Because long-term use changes the structure and functionality of your brain. It's not like taking insulin for diabetes.
Beautiful video , message , pointers . Ty !
Always.

The fear originates from the ego. Be still and listen to the soul within.

Absolutely, same here. I’m absolutely drained at my job at the end of every shift. I’m in a much better mood when I work from home.
