@mothballzzz9952 for acetone nail polish remover? A whole month is a good amount of time? Yes, I want them to be completely soft and easily crushed. Next I'll do petrol? How long for petrol?
@@Happymothballs . My acetone I soaked a month long. But the petrol I don't know. I have seen someone soaked for three weeks. But I guess a month would work better.
I'm not sure. Do you have any suggestions? This is my first time soaking intact naphthalene balls in a solvent. I'd probably need to soak them at least a few weeks so they're soft and easy to crush I'm assuming.
@@stutijha2769 Oh, I can smell it even if I don't bring it to my nose. The smell is rather strong and attaches to my clothes as well. Naphthalene balls used to be more popular in the USA about 30 years ago. Most people here do not like the smell, so it's not socially acceptable to go out in public or go to work or school smelling like mothballs. If I do a video, I have to shower, wash my hair and clothes afterward. Every time I put out a new video, people ask me about the gloves. I've mentioned that I have contact dermatitis and can not play with my bare hands. There's another mothball channel that uses gloves and spoons mostly. I never see anyone asking them why they wear gloves or use spoons, mothballs play with Japanese characters afterwards. If I didn't have gloves, I wouldn't be playing with mothballs due to personal skin consequences. Unfortunately, I was born this way, and I can't even use some soaps with fragrance for the same reason why I wear gloves. It's not a choice.
I soaked my naphthalene mothballs for a month and it came out super soft.
I love doing it. Incredible soft 😮 I 💕 it.

About nail polish remover I don't know but if kerosene or petrol 10 days ok
@@k.melwin620 kerosene and petrol are stronger than nail polish remover so I think it needs 15-20 days maybe 🤔🤔
@@Happymothballs done you ever touch or smell naphthalene?? You always wear gloves??
