The Dartling Gunner is probably not short, but the minigun thingy is probably heavy that's why it can't shoot over the plants in covered garden.
also the sniper is help up the shoulder, the dartling is held much lower
also, when you think about it, dartling guns are sometimes mounted on the front of a chair, meaning the dartling monkey is sitting in a swiveling chair, shorter than standing.

So the "see over obstacles" thing for covered garden has to deal with "Tower Height", a stat every tower is given. Another very easy one to see is with the Moab Assassin and Elim on Quarry. The upper ledge is just too high for the assassin to see from the middle, but the Elim is tall enough to see and shoot up it.
Although I don’t think this applies to the covered garden scenario. The sniper monkey holds its sniper on its shoulder while the dartling gunner holds its dartling gun almost to the ground. This scenario is less “Tower Height” and more “Weapon Height”.
@@Blackfedoraowner That's still the stat the towers use to determine the origin point where their shot comes from. Remember, these are lines of code, and the sprites only exist for you to visualize it

The dartling gunner vs sniper height kinda makes sense. While the sniper holds their weapon at eye level, the dartling gunner holds it down at waist level
you can do the same thing with Geraldo's turrets on cornfield, which is really useful on things like half cash :)

It was available for free for a short time from epic games store, but probably won't be again. Also on mobile it costs about half of PC version and they sometimes do 80% off so it's like under 2$

0:43 the carrier flag ship top deck has the same "see over obstacles" gimmick as the bench in covered gardens (at least it works with sniper)
Also, you can place the beast master's dino inside the north-west portion of the crater in the crack in the border. Makes for some great stun strategies when combined with super glue and pop and awe!

The dartling not being able to shoot over the plants is probably because it's at around hip height for the gunner, whereas the sniper can lift their rifle higher than that

I feel like DC being the only Expert map to have a boss on it just shows how much easier it is then the others. It's slightly easier than X Factor and way easier than maps like Geared.

It can grab the leads and pop them one at a time without buffs, but the brambles that get left behind on the track can't unless it's buffed or has the hard thorns upgrade

One that I encountered is that a savatar converted from a dart monkey didn't lose camo detection after I sold a village ( it was a 3-2-0 )

I keep being surprised at how 3-dimensional the game actually is at its core. At first I assumed the game just worked with like 2 or 3 planes, but not only does it have a way finer range than that, they even programmed in different heights for monkeys of the same size to account for them holding their weapons at different heights? I'm surprised they bothered with that, seeing as until now the game didn't even have terrain with a height difference that would allow this difference to matter.

Did you know this fact in one two tree you can only place primary monkeys on the blue dart military monkeys on the green point magic monkeys on the pink star and support monkeys on the yellow gear but idk the tree trunks
Here is one, Sauda's sword jump doesn't have to land on the track. If a golden bloon is off the track, like getting knocked back or something, the sword jump lands off the track.
There used to be a bug (3 or so years ago lol) that ground zero and tsar bomba couldn’t pop bloons that are distracted or blown back by a ninja or heli (and more)

I like to imagine the reason why the Bloons are stunned when getting hit by the spikes in Dark Dungeon is because it takes a couple of seconds to process why they just lost a layer of rubber when there wasn’t spikes there a second ago. (TLDR: Bloons are dumb so the reason why they are stunned is because they cannot process why they lost a layer because there wasn’t spikes there a second ago)

1-3-0 druid doesn't need alchemist for leads. even 0-3-0 doesn't need him but only his vines will be able to pop leads, not the standard attack
edit: after fact 15 i realized you probably meant that following leads running over the vines don't pop otherwise
Hbomb... The reason that the Druid can pop leads while buffed... Is because Acidic Mixture dip, which gives lead popping power to any tower 😀
