Before kamikazee went main stream, all their songs are mostly at this genre. But if you really understand Filipino, the lyrics will crack you up. This song basically describes how balls sweating hot it is in the Philippines during summertime 😂. Their older song "tsinelas" is just as funny. It's about finding his missing flip flops and it sounds like a deftones song.
With their comical and playful nature, the name Kamikazee is a play on the japanese word kamikaze when broken down becomes kami(divinity/divine) and wind(kaze). Both sound like 2 Tagalog words kami(we) and kasi(a tautology, which usually is used to emphasize the subject that leads to a cause). Great video looking forward to your next one.
These dudes are actually punk band who had some couple metal songs in their LPs
I don't know if someone answered already, "Kamikaze" means "The God's Wind" in Japanese... It is known in legends that the gods send the Holy Wind to defend Japan from their enemies... like the typhoon that diverted and destroyed the Mongol invasion of the mainland.
From what I know the band changed their name to "Kamikazee" (from "kah-mi-ka-zeh" to "kah-mi-ka-zi")

Kamikaze actually translates to "God's wind." Essentially meaning destiny heads *that* way, like it is predetermined.

Kamikazee (with two Es), I would describe them more as heavy pop punk (especially their more popular songs). I'd say have fun reacting and hopefully your vids get to them, they don't like to take themselves seriously and hope they do a reaction to your reaction hahaha. They are very fun to watch live!
Sobrang Init = Too Hot or Very Hot. Part of the song translates to " When am I going to have money to get an airconditioner in my living room. Kamikaze is actually a punk band (alternative, punk, pop punk), who sometimes play heavy stuff like this for fun. So yeah, you won't hear technical prowess in their heavy stuff, all are just for fun. They are very comedic in their live performances too. :D

They're kinda famous band (mainstream) in the Phils... More of a punk/emo punk on their first... But amongst the other bands in the mainstream, they are the heaviest and of course funniest. But I believe they're disbanded now.

they initially intended some of their music to have funny themes, while at the same time, sporting some 'slightly' heavy sounds (hence, why they sound 'quiet.' hahaha!) but they do have songs that have a more serious theme to them. :)

What I know is Tower of Doom is a record label studio and "Tower Session" is kinda like an event where they invite well known Filipino rock band to play while there's a bunch of people inside the studio, probably people who's connected to the management or the band itself, kinda like a private party.
