I can entirely take or leave coffee, but Serge being so unabashedly excited and knowledgeable about it is always something I look forward to seeing.
Also love watching people behind Serge doing the 'listening but really trying to look like they're not listening.'
I love how excited Serge is for coffee but I can't help but feel for the barista when he's explaining it in detail, it must be stressful like "this guy's going to know if I mess it up even a little"
On the other hand, I can't see Serge beeing a dick about a barista messing something up.

Can we get a series where Serge just talks about coffee? Maybe some "tutorials" and just general coffee talk, especially for beginners. I'd watch it.

This was absolutely amazing as your work almost always is. I just wanted to write how much I appreciate the work and also say that I wouldn't be disappointed if you cut back some, as it is astoundingly impressive how 14ish people can do all the content you do.
I have not found a coffee I like (a previous lesson from Serge), but it is very enjoyable listening to Serge talk about coffee

I dislike coffee. The only way I drink it is cold with chocolate flavoring in an energy drink. But I just love listening to Serge talk about it. The passion and enthusiasm he brings to it is very pleasant.
Same. I found that the "chocolate" flavor they talk about isn't our kind of chocolate, so it's like they lied to us every time they mention it. They mean bitter 100% cacao chocolate, not delicious milk-chocolate wonderland of sweets. Stop confusing us with the correct, not correct terminology. Everyone associates milk-chocolate with chocolate flavor, you fancy coffee people, not that vile poison.
Agreed. I drink tea, but seeing Serge be so passionate about coffee makes me happy.

You see those mana symbols on top of Gathering Points? That was my idea :3 When CFBe asked for feedback of MFs from the cosplayers, I mentioned that from afar it's hard to see which colors are which, and it's not colorblind-friendly, so adding the mana symbols on top should do the trick. It's really awesome to see them in effect :3 I hope they're helping :3
@ Graham: If you want “all the beers”...you should experience the Great American Beer Festival in Denver sometime. There are more beers there than you can imagine.

I have to say Serge's coffeeventures has previously encouraged me to do the same and now I get monthly shipments of craft coffee beans, have an aeropress and french press and am considering getting a chemex.

How I want my coffee tends to vary by how much time I want to spend preparing it. In terms of effort Black with real grounds > Milk and sugar with a pod > Creamer with pod

Having to do inventory on kegs i know how that is. Though at least he only has one cooler to check it all. I have 8 walkin coolers and several Perlics. Its because i deal with warehouse work at a decent sized event center. I will say after a few inventories you know how much is in a keg by giving it a lift and a shake.

The sucky thing about the side events is they are single elimination. You could have the second best deck/be the second best player in the pod but if you get paired against the eventual winner in the first round then you're out with nothing to show for it. :(
