Thank you, this is a great compliment. But the equipment is very basic: It's just a Panasonic camcorder HC-V550 - nothing else. I don't even use a tripod most of the time, only for the indoor shots of my model railroad. I think what is more essential is developing some skills in how to use it. I noticed it got better and better with time. Also important is image stabilization, and the long shots require some additional postprocessing (additional image stabilization) with the video editing software (I use iMovie, which is included in Mac OS) . That's the entire secret!
cool a NS #911 First Responders locomotive nice. sweet catch of those GE's and EMD's locomotive's nice. cool stander cab D9-40C nice. great catch of those SD60E's, SD40-2's with slug's and SD70's cool. beautiful sounds of these locomotive's.
Thanks, really nice video featuring NS 911. I wonder if they run it with NS 6920... Also really loved Part 1 at th-cam.com/video/LcqR0kG-jxc/w-d-xo.html with the SD40-2 and the slugs doing locals. Good camera work... as you say it's a skill and you've got it good :-)
I think I have seen pictures from railfests with 911 and 6920 together, but it would be a great sight "in the field" as well, for sure. Thanks, I'm happy that you like the vids.
Dude: You must have some awesome video equipment...yours is by far the highest quality of all the channels I subscribe to!
